They had some great service (in terms of both offers/value/price and support response-time), but my VPS with them kept randomly rebooting every couple weeks without notice. It wouldn’t necessarily be an issue for most folks, since they come right back up.
But I used full-disk encryption on my VPS install and every random reboot would mean my VPS would sit at the password prompt (not continuing to boot, not offering services) until I learned about it, could log into the web portal for VNC access, enter the password, and continue booting.
Hopefully they’ve addressed the issue since.
Did they fix this for you yet?
It was a month-to-month thing I picked up in January and I kept it for a couple months through May. I mentioned the random-reboot issue fairly early on but never heard anything back on it, so I went elsewhere. I don’t know if it has improved since.
Again, it should likely be fine for anybody not using full-disk encryption…the reboot would happen uneventfully for most folks. It just tanked my use-case.
