      • Mainly the way OpenVZ works and also the operating system. It’s not that it’ll run out, but there’s also performance / maintenance considerations. Sometimes people like to have their VPS moved. This requires manual work. Between locations IP addresses aren’t shared. Anyway, we try to do what we can. If you have a specific need – let us know!

    Forgive my noob question but how does one install and configure these VPS instances once you buy one? I’m used to SSH-ing into a remote linux box and doing all my work that way, but I can’t tell if that mode is supported by any of these services.

      a vps is just like a dedicated server, you can use SSH to do everything

      some have also the VNC option, but I guess SSH is preffered

    • Yes, there’s SSH out of the box. Login details will be provided. You can re-install or use the serial console via the VPS Control Panel. Let us know if you have any problems!

    Have had a VM for a few months from Cloud Shards, it’s uptime is terrific and the support is generally quick, definitely knowledgeable, and also polite. Can’t remember ever having any problems with the server.
