As the first quarter of this year has come to an end it’s time for another Community Roundup. This time there’s a stronger focus on LowEndBox rather than community events.
As always, if you have any events that you think belong in a Community Roundup, please PM @CommunityRoundup at LowEndTalk!
The return of the tutorials
After quite some time of absence, tutorials will return to LowEndBox. With me having settled at my new job (and the new schedule that came with it) and Jonathan doing an amazing job at helping me out writing offers, it’s time to get the tutorials back on track. An important factor is going to be sustainable pace. I’m aiming at releasing one tutorial every two weeks and having the length of the tutorial adapt to the time available, keeping the quality at the same level.
The first tutorial will be a start of a series and it will be focusing on something LowEnd!
LowEndTalk software update
The past month saw a long-awaited update to LowEndTalk’s software. We’re finally back on track with Vanilla’s mainstream release which allows us to path faster and more frequently. As well as fixing quite some bugs and issues, the new update introduced some new minor issues. I’m trying to compile a list of those issues over the next two weeks after which I will prioritize it and start fixing item by item.
If you have an issue at LowEndTalk that’s related to Vanilla, feel free to open up a ticket a the LowEndBox helpdesk or sending me a PM!
LowEndBox improvements
One of my goals this year, aside from heavily cutting down on repeat offers, is making some valuable improvements to LowEndBox. In order to do that I’d like to get community feedback, after which we will take that feedback and work from there. How and when I’m going to collect that feedback is still to be decided, but be sure to keep your eyes open at LowEndTalk for a thread asking for it!
