LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

CrownCloud - $7/Month 1024MB KVM VPS in Frankfurt, Germany

Arjit, from CrownCloud, has got four different kvm offers for the LowEndBox community! It seems that the offer will expire once all stock has been sold. A fourth offer can be seen by clicking ‘more’.

KVM-512

  • 512MB RAM
  • 4 CPU Cores
  • 20GB Diskspace
  • 1000GB Bandwidth
  • 100Mbps Port
  • 1 IPv4 Address
  • KVM/SolusVM
  • $7/Month | Order Link
KVM-1024

  • 1024MB RAM
  • 4 CPU Cores
  • 10GB Diskspace
  • 1000GB Bandwidth
  • 100Mbps Port
  • 1 IPv4 Address
  • KVM/SolusVM
  • $7/Month | Order Link
KVM-256-Promo

  • 256MB RAM
  • 4 CPU Cores
  • 2GB Diskspace
  • 200GB Bandwidth
  • 100Mbps Port
  • 1 IPv4 Address
  • KVM/SolusVM
  • $15/Year | Order Link

CrownCloud have been featured once before and LowEndBox and once in one of our ‘Community Roundups’. The last offer they were promoting, was for a $3.50/Month 128MB OpenVZ VPS in Los Angeles. However this time their promotions are KVM based and are located in Frankfurt, Germany. These offers are exclusive to the LowEndNetwork, you may have already seen the 256MB one on LowEndTalk. They’re using either the Intel i7 3770 or E3-1230v2 with 4 x 1TB drives in hardware RAID 10. Reviews on their last post were positive, it would be great if more reviews were left.

CrownCloud accept payments via PayPal, BitPay (Bitcoins) and LibertyReserve. Refunds are issued on a case to case basis. CPU cores are provided on a shared basis. More IPv6 can be requested as needed and CrownCloud are happy to add other operating systems they don’t already have. I’ve had a quick look over their TOS and it basically says ‘don’t do anything illegal’. For more information, take a look at their Terms of Service.

You are using Startcom SSL, trust me, spend 10 bucks a year and get one of those certs from Namecheap, I am sure it won’t break the bank.

And you will need to cat the CA-bundle file together with the cert, sometimes that might help you removing the annoying Firefox warning :)

        • Yep, I’ll pass that onto the team, Thanks for the suggestion :)

        • The page you posted has certificates for $ -1 (minus 1 dollar). Seems to be a mistake. I tried ordering, it didnt ask for money (but didnt pay me either ;) ), and got automatically cancelled.

Term of service nr. 5 is weird…

Also i need a ircd leaf on germany. Buy they also dont allow irc, that with term of sevice nr.5 makes this a no go for me.

    April 11, 2013 @ 10:44 am | Reply
    • Hey,
We allow IRC on a case by case basis, our earlier DC in Kansas did not allow it (for a reason ofcourse) so we stuck with it and allow it only on a case by case basis.
And, Refunds are dealt on an case by case basis, if the product does not work at all for you, we will refund.

CC’s Frankfurt service goes through an excellent backbone and the team is very responsive and responsible when it comes to customer data, seen this during a migration that went very smoothly.
