vSwap is enabled on the pool offer ?

    November 25, 2018 @ 6:29 pm | Reply
    • At the moment not by default but if you open a ticket with the VPS instance you want vSwap enabled on, we can enable vSwap for you matching the amount of RAM that is provisioned on that instance =)

      Enjoy!

Is it possible to choose the 4 pool and upgrade to 8 at a later date? I have just been burner in the past so would like to test the lower cost version for a few weeks.
    Thanks

  7. Do I install Windows 7 or server 2008 or 2012 on this vps?

  8. Tim:

I was wondering if I can change the vps on the fly within my pool ? So if I start out and create 1 of my pools with 2 cpu’s and 2 GB ram, can I later on bump it up to 4 cpu’s and 4GB ram without having to re-create the instance and move it over?? Can I do it on the fly without loss of web service?

Can I also allocate the amount of traffic per node?

If I go over the 50TB per month of traffic what is the cost per TB ??

I can’t find any backup options on your site, do you offer backup of drive space on these VPS ?

    Thanks

    Are docker containers supported?

    November 26, 2018 @ 2:28 am | Reply
    • For Docker, you’ll likely want to find a KVM powered VPS rather than OpenVZ. Container systems like Docker and LXC generally work better on KVM, since you can install your own kernel with any required modules (such as overlay2 or aufs).

    Hi,
I’m getting disappointed about the service. Made a purchase thru LEB forum and turn out the pool is not stable.

Also the website sparkvps.com client area is extremely slow to open, can hardly do anything. Took me almost 30mins to get to open a support ticket.

A VPS instant opened in NY event can’t start.
They replied my support tickets 2 hours later just a simple response which one is getting error.

I have had real issues with SparkVPS after asking for a refund. It has now been over 3 days and it still has not been issued. I will say they where very nice, just this delay in getting the refind is a bit frustrating. Take this into consideration if you are looking at taking them on as your server!

So far my experience has been mixed. I have started instances on both the atlanta and dallas locations and have experienced terrible upload bandwidth issues. Below is a snapshot from the Dallas location.

    Testing from ColoCrossing (198.12.71.239)…
Hosted by Speedtest.net (Dallas, TX) [1927.36 km]: 16.099 ms
    Testing download speed………………………………….
    Download: 772.87 Mbit/s
    Testing upload speed…………………………………………..
    Upload: 28.27 Mbit/s

I have messaged their support so hopefully they will rectify the issue. I will post an update soon, their support seems to respond but not expediently.

    Hi,

    Agree with those disappointed here.

Posted earlier that I was pleased with this company.

Quick responsive support. Very formidable offering.

I regret those statements and purchasing the highest package.

Let me start by saying, I just started getting into it with SparkVPS, but it actually started two weeks earlier when I found the NY location to be without any available nodes.

I was eventually able to get a slot there and had to place the other in Atlanta.

    Fine, whatever.

Now this week. Post black friday. Post cyber monday.

    Nothing but trouble.

Clearly, they over sold this product.

My website went down once last Sunday and has been unstable ever since.

The company literally stopped my server instance.

Their response? They have a script that checks for servers using too many resources and it automatically flagged my server and shut it down.

I have an ordinary website that gets very little traffic. How???

The solution? Adjusting said script to be more accommodating.

That lasted only a few hours and the site was down.

By Tuesday I was looking for a new host when the server went down again.

By Wednesday, after another outage and claim of a fix, I was asking for a prorated refund.

As of this writing, I am getting ignored.

Bottom line: I hate writing these types of reviews, but since I wrote a positive review, I felt it was my responsibility to let people know.

I would avoid these guys like the plague.

Seems like another CloudatCost scam to me.

Having the same kind of issues. Had the server in September and only in the past few weeks have I had issues with my VPS being down every 1 – 3 days. It’s only the Buffalo VPS and not my Windows server which I have had 0 issues with. This time I think I have to request to be moved to a different server because I’ve had nothing but issues lately. I’d rather have my server operate slow than be down but I agree it sure looks like a service has been heavily oversold and what they are running isn’t capable of dealing with it.

Was enthused about this offer but disappointed with the server performance. I asked for a refund in accordance with their 48 hour policy and now am seemingly being ignored. I hope this is a case of busy support, but just a heads up..

I am also being ignored about my refund. Their service just didn’t fit my need and I asked for a refund less then 24 hours after I was given the VPS. They canceled my service but still no refund.

  23. This is a review of my current issues with this company. I purchased two different VPS offerings from this company. One is a Windows VPS which I have had no issues at all with.

The second was a fairly high resource VPS which I have running CentOS 7. In looking at the resource usage there are no high usage amounts in either CPU, bandwidth or memory. It is running one website, Virtualmin and a rarely if ever used Icecast server.

The VPS goes down completely about every two to three days without any reason. The main control panel and the VPS control panel are never able to restart the server and I have experienced hours of downtime. I have asked repeatedly why the VPS keeps going down and have never received a response to that question.

I’m really about at the end of my rope here and pretty much resolved to I have wasted my money and need to move my server elsewhere if I wish for it to be online and working for more than a 48 hour period. It’s sad because when it’s up it works great but having it go down over and over and over again means a fairly important website is down just as much as it’s up.

Too bad the company here don’t care anymore I think we must report all bad company and ask to not allowing new listing here because we only waste our time and energy to have our money back.

What does VPS Pool mean? If I get 16GB from the package, will I get to create another 16GB for 16 times?

    • kiko:

No, you gonna create another 1GB for 16 times if you want or 16GB like 4 of 4GB or 2 of 8GB or 8 of 2GB and so on…
