EasyVDS - £4.40 512MB VMWare VPS in UK

EasyVDS EasyVDS, part of CCPG Solutions, are selling some cheap UK-based VMWare Linux VPS, starting from £2.50/month. For 512M plan it’s £4.40/month (~USD$6.92), and you can sign up here (note: pro-rata to the end of the month).

  • 512MB memory
  • 15GB storage
  • 1TB/month data transfer
  • VMWare/Custom control panel

Payment in PayPal, Moneybookers, credit card or bank transfer. They are using a custom control panel integrated with WHMCS to do simple VPS management (reboot, rDNS, etc). Their servers are with BlueSquare in Maidenhead, UK. CCGS Solutions LTD was registered in March 2009 in UK (Company No. 06852472). It seems to be run by Adam and Jacob who are currently studying in University of Portsmouth but also wear quite a few hats at the same time.

Cheap VMware based offers are a bit hard to come by. eNetSouth had some equivalent offers in Chicago and San Jose (although from what I’ve seen, there seems to be quite a bit of support problem right now), and then this VMStormVPS offer with lower memory, but this is the first one in UK.

I find this VPS offer really good. I’ve been investigating their company and affiliated companies and they definitely look interesting.

    (Would be great for VPN!)

  4. Hi,

We can offer a variety of services from our sites in the UK as well as VPS.
We also offer native IPv6 with all our services.

vCenter access can be given if needed, although in most cases you shouldn’t need it! :)

    Hope that Helps,

    Adam

  6. Reinstall from control panel is currently a feature we are testing and will be adding to our control panel for customer use soon. :)

At the moment you can have the option of a) one of our techs reinstalling the system or b) any cd image of your choice being attached and vcenter access for you to custom install it yourself.

    • Hi Erawan,

Apologies for the issue you experienced the other day – our own webserver has been experiencing a memory leak that affected its performance and took our site down a few times – this is now resolved.

I have just contacted you also regarding your recent request and am awaiting your confirmation.

I’d also like to identify that your VPS has been online since your order was completed according to our system.

I apologise for reviving this old thread.
Ordered but didn’t pay for a vmware instance like almost 24h ago, sent a sales ticket and they did not reply me.
    Quite strange.
