ExpertVM – $40/Year 128MB KVM in Singapore

ExpertVMExpertVM is launching two KVM packages today, which are pretty much like what they had last time except this is KVM instead of OpenVZ with higher data transfer.

KVM1

  • 128MB memory
  • 10GB Disk Space
  • 40GB/month bandwidth @ 10mbps
  • 01 x IPv4
  • 10 x IPv6 (read note below)
  • KVM / SolusVM
  • $40/Year USD
  • Direct Signup Link
KVM2

  • 256MB memory
  • 20GB of Disc Space
  • 80GB/month bandwidth @ 10mbps
  • 01 x IPv4
  • 10 x IPv6 (read note below)
  • KVM / SolusVM
  • $6.99/Month USD
  • Direct Signup Link

We rarely see an offer from this part of the world so, in my opinion, this is a good offer for people living in the east or organizations looking for another location for their DNS or the likes.

Since this is KVM, you can load your own ISO. Windows 2008 server license is available as an addon for $5/mo. Direct peers are Level3, NTT, Equinix Singapore, Equinix Australia, Equinix Hong Kong, Starhub, SingTel, M1 and TATA so it may work better for most users living in the east. They are resolving some technical issues with their upstream regarding IPv6 hence I believe it may be offered soon.

Payment method is probably only PayPal and they require a verified PayPal account. All accounts are setup manually and the customers will have to wait for 24hours for the welcome email to arrive. Private VPN/Proxy is allowed. Torrents, adult content, warez, IRC, Spamming and Public VPN/Proxy is not allowed. Please do take the time to read the comparison between ExpertVM and SercureAX (parent company).

Test IP: Users are suppose to request the test ip by using a form on their website or one can use 223.25.238.3 from their last offer posted on LEB.

Update: Caric just sent me 103.11.143.1 to be used as Test IP

Why is it that I get ~300ms ping times to expertvm.com domain and ~150ms to the ip mentioned (103.11.143.1)

Aren’t they using the same network?
