  1. Well, according to their page, may be the port is limited to 8mbps? Sounds interesting

          2. Regarding that WHT post. Whos account is suspended. who offers Unlimited accounts for stupid prices? Not FirstNetServ! this easyhost also claims to run there own servers which they dont.

I think you should take a look at http://www.mywot.com/en/forum/6492-please-review-my-sites-http-easyasabc-hosting-com-and-http-bestvalueinks-com Read it all. would you still want to host with easyhost?

May i also point out that the WHT thread is nearly 2 years old. and he gave up on easyasabc hosting because the people at WOT found he had been posting customer info online.

You can choose the location but the order will need to be setup manualy This is why i said there was not a choice in the matter because it could take as long as 3-4 hours for the vps to be setup. If you are okay to wait then you can select a node of your choice.

We are lucking to deploy more Swedish Nodes in the future but there not cheap :(

  20. This host scammed me! They give you a machine and say its 2GB burst, BUT IT ISN’T! If you try to use more than 1GB they will reboot yoru machine until you lower your cost to less than 1GB! This is horrible because I couldn’t even run my java based server! When I tried to get help, it seemed every ticket response is a rude flame from Dan Meah! I told him that the box was acting up and that the net speed wouldn’t go past 200k, he told me to fix MY internet that it’s not his fault! I am currently downloading ubuntu’s ISO at 2.2Mb!! It’s definitely not my internet! So he wipes my data and tells me that it’s all fixed now! I reinstall everything and try again and it’s still having about a 200k limit! (I just moved the server to another location and the server is now uploading around 2mb avg, with the same exact configuration as at firstnetserv, which is normal for my server!). On top of all of that the machines randomly restart and has already cost me a huge chunk of data I can never get back!

I asked for a refund and he said no and attempted to charge me $37 for asking!!! I am now in the paypal claim’s process of getting my money back from this RUDE THIEF!!!

Regarding the burst if you can read the above he abused this and was using too much burst. he was given 3 warnings prior and even at one point accepted to stay below a certain Level which he didnt do.

        • I was given no warnings, I was using an AVG of 60% of 2gb, that’s just over 1GB and he kept telling me I was using over 1.5GB. He has disabled my account and kept my money without giving me ANY PRODUCT now. He continues to threaten me in tickets.

Maybe the warnings were when he’d randomly reboot my machine and then provide no help to recover any of the data he caused me to lose? Maybe the warnings were when he started ending every ticket with
“we are not an american company hence we do not follow there law or even respect them. we are british.”

What is your point with that? Are you trying to score one for Britain by picking on people from america? I don’t get why you have to keep telling me that you don’t respect Americans because you are British.

      • I can see other hosts right here on LEB who does not offer burst – Cleverkite, Burstnet to name a few who sell VPS’s without burst ram with succes. :)

“he abused this and was using too much burst”

          Thanks for a free laugh.

And? They get what they pay, this guy bought with burst because he needed burst and he doesn’t get it.

        • Right, I mistakenly assumed it was a VPS with no burst RAM

          March 24, 2011 @ 11:33 am | Reply
        • Using burst is fine but when they abuse that we take action, please note the client was given alot of warning prior to him opening a dispute.

We even said he would be fine using around 1GB of ram on a Constant basis (Which was more than he paid for). but he still proceeded to use nearly 2GB.

        • Don’t let Dan Meah fool you, move on, choose another VPS company! This entire company is run by Dan Meah! He has an issue with not providing good service to his customers and being very rude in tickets!

I was not abusing burst, I was using burst RAM. I wasn’t even using it constantly! I had all of my services set to under 700MB IN THE CONFIG! If it was using more than the 70% of ram I SAW it using then it was his machines fault! I’m runnning the same exact servers on another host with the same exact configuration and I’m not even using more than 768MB! Astonishing and even funny how using another host that doesn’t count on if I’m an american or not, I am able to do the same exact thing at an even lesser cost RAM wise.

        • I meant 60% (not 70%) in the above reply, typo.

        • I have proof to prove my point. do you?

For the second time the company isnt just ran by me. I have other staff (They may be lazy) but i do. Does it realy matter anyway how many people run it?

          March 24, 2011 @ 6:23 pm | Reply
        • YES IT MATTERS!!!! If I had known before buying that the entire company was run by one person I would not have chose your company!

If you aren’t run by one man why did I get no support from anyone else? Why were all the flaming tickets saying that you are British only from Dan Meah??? Why was the paypal account tied to your personal email and not a company email?

Because you are run by one guy who is very rude and doesn’t care about customers at all! He just cares about the money and securing it in his pocket!

      • This is my final comment on this subject @ LEB

we are not a 1 Man Op. We care about are customers this has already been proven by offering to reactivate your service providing the fee is paid. Any other Web hosting company would have just ignored you. I admit my comments on america was abit direct. And i apologise for that if you feel offended But i do not respect there laws.

        • You did not offer me anything! Why are you trying to tell me here on this review site that you would give me my account back and not tell me in a ticket! You are ridiculous! You steal my money and give me a less than par box, wouldn’t help me and kept saying everything was my fault in tickets. Your consistently rude and offensive in tickets, why would I want to give you MORE money??? I’m not paying you money just because I asked for a refund that is ridiculous! Your whole company is a ridiculous scam!

        • Here is a good idea for the future

do not open paypal disputes with companies.

        • And even worse, you aren’t giving me ANY services atm and you still expect me to give you money! Are you on drugs!!?!? Have you gone insane?!!?

        • Its simple. Pay the dispute fee and we can start again. But this must be paid.

        • You are ridiculous Dan Meah. I opened a paypal dispute because you weren’t giving me a product worth paying for and you were being very rude and not helping in tickets! I don’t need a box that’s going to restart randomly or have a network limit of 200k!!!!

          March 24, 2011 @ 7:02 pm | Reply
        • There was no network limit on the box. Perhaps the reason why you where experiencing Slow speeds is because of your ISP.

        • Why would I want to go back to listening to how much you hate america? Or how much you think your servers are flaw-proof and that all problems are caused by the customer?? I’m not paying you so you can be rude to me and not help again! Would you pay someone to tell you how much they hate your mother country or be a rude dick to you?

          March 24, 2011 @ 7:04 pm | Reply
        • No, its not my ISP and you need to stop trying to blame the customers! I am running the same server with the same exact config elsewhere and the upload FROM THE BOX (not counting anything client-side, looking at it server side via BYOBU’s net stats) is avging 2mb like it should! Whenever I asked you to help you would tell me it’s my ISP!!! Why not even look into it???? So rediculous.

Look at godaddy or virpus’s support for a role model sir. They investigate issues instead of saying “it’s your ISP.”

MY ISP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH UPLOAD FROM THE BOX ITSELF!!! Do you even know that???

    Hi Dan,

You can’t blame people for thinking it’s a kiddy host. Your grammar is pretty bad for a British adult. E.g “are” and “there” instead of “our” and “their”. No offense intended mate. :)

Since when do 15 or 16 year olds become Adults in EU?
And the company is run by his parents and not him.

Well there’s no proof that he’s a kid. If he claims he’s an adult, I believe him. I don’t get why he’d lie about his age.

I do not see any posts on twitter. I understand you may be busy trying to resolve this but I also feel it’s very important you let people know what’s going on, especially when they have no way of contacting you because of the problem and it’s been down this long.
