Some company I’ve never heard of is giving away a poster about a technology I barely understand.
A firm known as Rohde & Schwarz is giving away free printed copies of a poster show frequency spectrum allocations worldwide. The digital version can be downloaded by entering all your contact into at the site (or just click here, but don’t tell anyone). They’ll mail a free print copy to US addresses.
Who is Rohde and Schwarz? Their web site says:
Rohde & Schwarz develops, produces and markets a wide range of electronic capital goods for industry, infrastructure operators and government customers. The independent group is among the technology and market leaders in all of its business fields, including wireless communications and RF test and measurement, broadcast and media, air traffic control and military radiocommunications, cybersecurity and network technology.
They also say they have 13,000 employees in 70 countries. They do some pretty cool things like building oscillators for particle accelerators, develop electronic warfare systems, and work on military communications networks.
