Host1Plus has been around for some years but never been featured on LowendBox before. HOST1PLUS.com is a division of D. E. Technologies Ltd., registered In England & Wales. HOST1PLUS has three offices, London (UK), Kaunas (Lithuania) and Frankfurt am Maine (Germany).

HOST1PLUS accepts payments via Debit/Credit card, PayPal, AliPay, WebMoney, CashU, Paysera. They have a refund policy which states that if you buy their service with a discount code you can’t request a refund. Guess this offer falls into that category so consider this a heads up.

Yeh, they did offer free vps. I managed to pick one up.. one word, Horrific. But they probably put them free vps’s on some really bad hardware. but who knows.

As an ex-staffer in H1F I’d like to say, that H1F and H1P are barely connected. They’re hosted in same facility, and some staff is hired by H1P. That’s basically all. Each division have each own nodes, and H1F’s are oversold like hell. Never tested their paid product (Why the hell shall I give them my real phone number, but I’d like to say that H1P support is more or less adequate(Contacted them via livechat once because their NSes allowed AXFR for everyone, and, well, the person who answered me in livechat was level 3 support engineer).

    “port is limited to 15Mbps.”

For reference, other Brazilian providers are charging $25-$70 for 3Mbps-8Mps ports so that is a good port speed for Brazil :)

I can confirm the results of DomainBop.
I needed TUN/TAP enabled for ipv6 tunneling and the support replied within 8hours (ticket priority=low), what is good for me.
Also its the new openvz with swap. On the level 1 in Brazil, I received 512MB SWAP.
You do need to give them a valid phone number. A German speaking computer voice calls you and you will receive a 4 digit code to enter on there website.

Guys dont fall for these, they are operating very weird. The initial VPS Hosting page says 1000Mbps connection, theres nowheere a mention about 15Mbps connection untill you actually buy the product for ex. “Level 2”, i ordered the service for 3 months and ive been using it merely 10 days, i had a lot of packet loss and the connection speed would drop very often to 4Mbps down / 2 Mbps up.

I requested then to cancel the service and refund, but they are ignorant and dont listen anything, i was forced to dispute the transaction via PayPal, the case is still open but these guys have suspended my VPS. I have no access at all and they still didnt refund my money. Never had such a case the provider being so ignorant. STAY AWAY FROM THEM You will not regret!

What do you expect from a company who gives you a free VPS and suspend you 2 days later on abuse before you log into the VPS?

The company is scam, end of story.

      Define the word scam.
As far as I know, we do not suspend anyone unless they break the Terms of Service.
Some VPS owners are actually months old and I don’t see the logic in your comment as to why you would call this company as scam.
