LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

HostHatch - $6 128MB OpenVZ VPS in Netherlands with 1Gbps Shared

HostHatch Kelvin from Host sent me their LowEndBox exclusive package a few days before Easter. However from my local ISP to their website (hosted in UK) is totally unreachable so I only had a chance to post about it. Direct link to order Hatch Lowendbox VPS, which is $6/month and it has

  • 128MB guaranteed/256MB burstable memory
  • 10GB storage
  • 1Gbps unmetered shared connection
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Price wise $6/month is a tad expensive for 128MB memory OpenVZ box, so the selling point here would be that 1Gbps unmetered port. Servers with EvoSwitch in the Netherlands (test IP: 31.31.32.164). According to Kelvin, “Warez allowed but no child porn” so you know what kind of neighbours you will get with that 1Gbps link. Domain registered 3 weeks ago, both NS on the same IP address and info on WHOIS is probably bogus, as HostHatch is said to be UK based. You can however find it on Companies House with Company No. 07600722. No review can be found on WHT, and only one related offer there. It contains a few reviews, and first one sourced from Wjunction — where their PK-located user was actually banned.

I would prefer a limited 100mbps connect and more RAM, then unmetered 1gbps with little RAM. With the storage you get as well, you can’t really run anything that would use a gbps connection.

  2. Hello,
We do not have any users currently running any Warez. The info on WHOIS is real as the domain was registered by me and i live in US but The company is located in UK. Thanks for posting the offer.
Also, We are upgrading our new clients to double Ram And HDD for the first month, We are new so we do not have any current reviews.

That’s weird. You are a “Choy”, i.e. Chinese/Cantonese surname. You stated that you live in US. However your IP address goes to an ISP in Islamabad in Pakistan. Ahem. Also been hunting the FBI most wanted there?

        • Well, I agree to the part that most of the Punjab province traffic (where Lahore is) goes through PIE (Pakistan Internet Exchange) in Islamabad so people from Lahore are reported as people from Islamabad.

We do not link to the reviews as they are at Wjunction and we do not want to post Wjunction’s links at WHT. That is our Sales member asking us, Not us directly :)

Search Wjunction for those reviews, They are all there except the email and live chat ones.

Also the HDD would be 20GB.

It goes after 30 days, The Double Ram and HDD offer will stay for only 14 days and then new clients will no longer get 30 days Double Ram and HDD. You can keep the offer for a very small extra price. Send in a ticket for more details.

    Hello,

This is a message to all our LowendBox VPS clients. We have finished the offer as we had to maintain the Per Node clients and IPv4 Ips are limited.

In order to keep your VPS, Please upgrade to Hatch VPS 5 which costs 10$/month as soon as you can, Your VPS will be destroyed and a refund made after 72 hours of this Message if you do not upgrade to Hatch VPS 5. We apologize for this but we had to do this after seeing the Ipv4 exhaust. The upgrade will only cost you 4$ for the first month as you already have paid 6$ for LowendBox VPS.

Do not hesitate to contact us via ticket or Live chat if you need any help.

  15. Hello,
We just received a big notification from our Provider that we have to keep the IPs in mind, The problem here is not the VPS Specifications, Its the IP limitations, The 10$ package contains 384Mb Ram with 512Mb burst Ram and 30Gb HDD so it is totally not bad in that price, We are offering full refunds to the customers who want to cancel.

$10/mo is definitely not a lowend as per the rules. Good thing that you guys are refunding clients who want to cancel.

First of all, Prove poor support? We have current average of 10 minute replies, We cant provide much better then that if you think thats bad. Non-Existing? Im sure we are but we accidently exist and reply in 10 minutes?

We wont be having any Lowendbox deals in future so whatever the dead pool is, Pulling us in that wont affect us :)

  21. They are shit. They dont colocate, they just lease servers. If they colocated they would have their OWN IP ranges(not rapidspeeds).

I find it hard to believe someone with such a bad English was born and resides in the USA. Care to prove otherwise? Got proof?

And lol @ allowing warez at LeaseWeb. You clearly didnt read their TOS, did you?

A really professional way to speak, Oh, I did read it but seriously you didnt.. Allowing warez at Leaseweb? Oh, We dont use leaseweb or maybe you would have some eyes to see if leaseweb could give us that much IPs so we could breakeven?

  22. Hello Marko,
Please ask Rapidspeeds that we co-locate or not. If you see, They provide cheaper Co-Location and more IPs then Leaseweb and so we have gone with them.

We are not allowing Warez anymore if you did any research.
