2, I login to your whmcs panel, and try to connect my vps,but I saw my vps is rebuild ,and the os is not my choice, the password is reset, I was faint
3, you tell me “I can’t find any issue! “, and “If you have any questions please do not hesitate to Contact us”

    ok,you won!

the problem got solved, and the server and vps is okay now,and I was rebuild all data and sys env , probably spent 3 hours.

I do not want to be held this time, but I do not think so it is “I can’t find any issue”, and I hope the server will stable , to prove”99.9% Uptime Guarantee” and “High-capacity”

    today,I said:

I reinstall os to debian 7 ,but now http://172.110.9.177/ is centos, why??????????????
where is my app and data??????????????????

    but both of they said:

    • First: you don’t even know what you asked for. Your ticket claim that your VPS is down! We did provide it ping ok no issue. Why don’t show the rest of the ticket?
Then you asked to install? We told you where you can rebuilt. Once you get any issue we fix it immediately. Problems happened not matter who provide the services. We fixed your VPS . If you don’t like our services we happy to refund.

  23. Opened a pre-sales ticket and got an automated response saying my ticket failed because my e-mail address wasn’t registered as a customer. Huh!? Might want to fix that.

    Two questions:

    1) Do you have multiple physical nodes in each location?
    2) If I buy an extra IP address, is it possible to use it as a failover IP between two VPSs at the same location?

  37. I have Managed VPS currently with another VPS hosting provider. I am not that good with VPS yet but I do have basic ideas. That’s why I am running some WordPress websites and a forum on managed VPS. What I want to know is
    1. Do we get preset template where LAMP already installed? So that I don’t have to install those manually via SSH?
    2. If above question is yes then is there any wordpress ready stack/template in VPS control panel?
    3. If I messup my os installation do I have to inform you guys or there is simple ways to install any os or Lamp again?
    4. Is there any money back guarantee?

    October 15, 2015 @ 4:42 pm | Reply
    • 1 – We don’t have LAMP OS but you can give us the download link to mount it for you
2- VPS panel is not webhosting it controlling your VPS, reboot , reload etc.
3- once we add it for you it will be easy to reinstall anytime.
4- Normally we don’t but in some cases we do with refund fee.

      Thanks

WARNING: Absolutely DISGRACEFUL service! Avoid at all costs.

All I did was install Apache, PHP, MySQL and within 24 hours I was suspended due to supposedly running DDOS attacks. Then they sent me some weird screenshot of the “ifconfig” process using 30% of the CPU, and 800MB of data sent to another IP address… completely nonsensical and could have come from anywhere.

EVEN WORSE, they reported that I was fraudulent, so other providers wouldn’t let me buy from them. I had to explain all of this crap until they eventually understood the horrible quality of LetBox’s service.

AVOID AVOID! You will have a heap of trouble with this VPS provider.

  43. Michael:

This is another example of Letbox’s poor service.

Firstly you accuse me of running a ddos attack. As I mentioned, all I did was install a LAMP stack.

Then you show me an unexplained screenshot that shows 845 MB transmitted between my VPS and 183.61.174.15. Who is 183.61.174.15? Looks like some IP address in China. Why would I buy a VPS on a year contract to run a DDOS attack on some unknown IP address in China?

Then you show another screenshot of ifconfig using 38% of the CPU. I never ran ifconfig. Please look through your logs and tell me when exactly I ran ifconfig. As mentioned, all I did was install Apache, MySQL and php, linked a domain name, and hoped to run a low-bandwidth website without any problems. Not only have you taken my money and cancelled the service, and I have needed to spend hours wasting time with you, but you reported me to other VPS providers to prevent me from buying from them.

I don’t doubt that your company is generally good, however in this case you have been unsatisfactory. It is obvious that some mistake has been made. I have used other provides, Vultr, vmbox, Iniz, Amazon, digital ocean, cloudshards for years and never have I been falsely accused of running a ddos attacks.

  44. Michael:

I have not been “jumping around with false details”.

    Here are the facts:
    1. I did not run a ddos attack on your VPS. I told you this in my first email.
    2. You said I did, and you suspended the service that I had paid for.
    3. You then reported me to other VPS providers and it has been very hard for me to find the hosting that I wanted to buy from you. This has caused a heap of problems.
    4. I wondered if someone unauthorised has use the VPS, but you say only I have.
    5. Since it seems the VPS has run a ddos attack all by itself, it would appear that your service is faulty. Since you have suspended my account, there is nothing I can do to help find out the reason for this problem.

    • So you telling me now that the VPS would run ddos attack by himself? Do you understabd what you saying here? As I mentioned before that you have been on hold untile our administrator looking into this case and since it was weekend don’t expect he will be online. After that you send cancellation request which meaning no longer required the services.

I am telling you that I did not run a ddos attack and you are saying nobody else used my vps. So where did the ddos attack Coke from?

I cancelled and requested a refund because my VPS is disabled and you reported me to other providers.

Please fix the problem with the VPS and when it is fixed, I might cancel the refund request and will stop complaining now. Until then, I am very disappointed with the service.

I just want my VPS fixed or money back. Please ask your admin to investigate why it is running a ddos attack. That is not an unreasonable Request. Then you reported me for being fraudulent when I have done nothing wrong.

Of course I can wait. The annoying thing is that you prevented my from buying any other VPS and you have no right to do that. I will not write any more here until the issue is resolved and will contact your support team.

I would be aware of them. NO refunds. Once you pay them they might as well turn your servers down and thats it there will be nothing that you can do. I suggest you stay away from them. Just think about it if they are REALLY legit why would they not have refunds ? unless they are hiding something

    • The network speed is good however speed varies depending on locatiion. You won’t get full speed all over the world.
Check our Dallas location could be better for your country and keep in mind you order to 100mbps port speed.

      Thanks

Ok, you are right. After some checks with speedtest-cli, I’ve seen that the speed is quite good (70-90 Mbps download , 20Mbps-50Mbps upload).
Good support. I want to thank the patience of your support. I’m new in this VPS world.

Don’t use acd_cli on these boxes. While experimenting, I used it to attempt to copy about 25 GB of data to my Amazon cloud drive and got suspended for saturating the outbound pipe. acd_cli is apparently a bad actor in this regard. I have no idea if the same thing would happen if data were copied in smaller chunks.

Working through a ticket now; hopefully this mistake on my part won’t result in a permanent suspension, but I offer this to help others avoid the same thing.

    • True acd_cli flooding on the node caused heavy packet loss. Let me know if your services still unavailable.
