  1. Just a heads up, some extra info that came from JoeMerit: “FDCServers + LFCVPS own power backups (UPS) + their own network uplink, they use their own Cogent uplink + FDC bgp mix, plus have their own UPS systems which makes it better than your typical FDCServers Denver setup.”

  3. Just because a few people have asked, yes, the Montreal VPSes are really in Montreal — is it normal for VPS companies to lie about their location or something? :)

  5. I’ve had a 256MB vps at their Denver location for 3 months. Purchased on last deal and is working fine. Just picked up a 512MB in Montreal. I chose Montreal as it has great pings from US as well as UK locations. Great Customer Service and always answer my questions.

Any limitations on what can be hosted? IRC, etc.? I’m kinda new here, but read other offers where certain software isn’t allowed to run.

    • Wow, I’m way late on posting a reply but this type of stuff is listed in our ToS/AUP.

You can basically do anything IRC related except host a public IRC server — private ones are fine.

Is the discount code valid for all of your Linux plans or only these two? Also what’s the clock speed of the vCPU cores?
