Peter from Magoro is offering readers at LowEndBox a special discount on their Xen PV servers. Use promo code V7Z5PVP3S4 to get 25% off life time discount, which brings the price of their “Xen256” plan to $6.71/month. Here is the link to order.
- 256MB memory
- 15GB storage
- 110GB/month data transfer
- Xen/SolusVM
Servers with Waveform Technology in Troy MI (test IP: 208.92.223.106). There is also a 40% off 1st month coupon code 1K40PN4I497NX. Domain registered in 2009. Their offers do seem to get worse over time though — 50% off, then 40% off and now 25% off. They have also dropped Xen HVM support, reason being worse performance comparing to Xen PV. They are a registered LLC in the state of Michigan.

The original owner of LowEndBox known as LowEndAdmin or LEA for short founded LowEndBox in 2008 and created the concept of hosting applications on low resource Low End Boxes. After creating the roots of the community that we know today, LEA stepped aside and allowed others to carry the torch forward.
Maybe they’re trying to weed their clients away from coupons?
And what;s with them talking about themselves in the third person in that WHT post? “Magoro found those…”
Third person still comes out after many years of school. :)
Yes, what we are doing is trying to get people off coupons.
Their 256 package only comes with 15GB space
So? You can put a lot of things in 15GB.
I think he’s pointing out it has been changed or is a mistake/misprint in LEA’s post. The post lists 25GB of space on a 256MB package. The 256MB package on their homepage lists 15GB, and they both link to id=2 on the cart, so they’re presumably the same package…
Oh, I’m sorry. I thought that he meant “15GB? – too little!”. Sorry once again :)
Fixed.
