    Hello Lowendbox.com Users!

I would like to take the time to recognize Tim and his team, since recognition should be voiced when deserved. We are a non-profit (501c3) and they were very generous to get me set up on a great deal that matched our needs.

We have migrated all of our websites to servers with N3Servers.com and couldn’t recommend their support, and server speeds enough.

    Sincerely,
    Richard A.

Note the OpenVZ are very old 2.6 kernel line, which will stop getting security fixes before the end of the year period, Nov 2019.

No docker support either because of this.

Debian 9 user space expects a 4.6 kernel and warns about glibc compatability.

    I’ve cancelled mine, feels useless.

    December 2, 2018 @ 11:21 am | Reply
    • Thanks Dean, our OpenVZ VPS servers currently use the latest branch of the stable OpenVZ 6 kernels for utmost stability and speed, as we have found some stability issues with OpenVZ 7. While those are being ironed out actively by their team, we do have a plan in place to migrate our OpenVZ infrastructure to OpenVZ 7 platforms way before the November 2019 deadline so no worries on the security fixes etc.

If you are looking to run your own kernel or Docker, our Hybrid Server offers here which are powered by KVM will allow you to do so.

      Regards,
      – Tim

  14. I have ordered the VPS from N3server almost 1 week but the service far from my expectation.
always down and error every day, now I can’t access the VPS server.
I don’t know what happens. I think to cancel payment and dispute from Paypal is the best solution.

I cannot build up my working environment because service goes to unavailable after it is set up 1-2 hours. it is not a good sign, and I am applying for refund.

yes the service is very unreliable. network issues right now, and the server often reboots itself

        December 14, 2018 @ 9:06 pm | Reply
  16. I agree with others, there’s some down time but it’s very few and the support is accommodating and trying to fix the concerns. I understand about the downtime it is because the vps is only an OpenVZ w/c shares resources. If someone abuses the cpu then all nodes is in trouble. I suggest to allocate cpu speed per node to prevent crashing of service.

Unfortunately, 5 days after paying, the VPS is still not working. They have been responsive, but the VPS remains unusable. I’m sure they’ll eventually get it sorted, but now we’ll see how the refund process works.

Hello, have you got refunded ?

      December 17, 2018 @ 8:59 am | Reply
      • Luc:

No refund yet, just crickets chirping atm. I’ll give them another day or 2 then dispute on PayPal. I’m not expecting push back as their ToS says: “…if you are not satisfied with our service, we will give you a full refund by method paid.”

I have had excellent service from several other LEB providers. This one is an outlier. I will not buy from them again.

  19. Absolutely AWFUL performance. 30-60 second response time on web queries that are instantaneous on most platforms.

  20. Jay:

Terrible performance. 20+ seconds for SSH to register any input. They “Fixed” the issue, and consequently, disconnects from ssh, and inability to log back in.
Likely overselling, or not paying attention to those that abuse cpu usage.
Asked for a refund 2 days ago, no response. Seems to not adhere to the 24 hour refund policy they have.
Will be filing for a chargeback tomorrow morning. Will cost them more in the end…

I bought the plan with 4 CPU 4GB RAM. The server is very often down due to abused resources. This company likely oversold the server. I can’t use my 4CPU !!! Even with my server idle and doing nothing the htop load shows 10 or higher meaning the neighbor is using up all my CPU !!!

Today my server died in the arse. It turns out that I used 5G of an allocated 60G but the host node was maxed out so my the disk was 100% full. So must be oversold to the max.
