  1. Just to throw out, they don’t allow public proxies.

No one really complaining about them in their previous threads. They have their ToS and AUPs though in pdf form. Gotta admit though that bother me a bit as I know on some networks that I’m stuck using, I can’t view them.

These folks have an “Administrative Fee” for $50 to $150 if you dispute a charge. We all know that that is not going to go over well here.

Yes, please change the link to https://crm.nqhost.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=83
This is a correct link to order new PR-2 tariff.

Signed up with these guys and got provisioned in a few hours. I like not having
to worry about checking my bandwidth due to it being unmetered :). Although I probably
wont be using even near 25gb ;0

It will be perfect offer, if they could offer 512 MB of RAM. 256 is still too low :/

Just to let people know… just acquired their PR-1 tariff plan (Germany), setup took some hours but after that, everything is blazing fast, both the vps and the network.

We’ll see after a few weeks :) But right now, thumbs up to these guys and would encourage everyone to take advantage of the offer.

got one of their offers 6 months ago, no complaints whatsoever, everything has been great, current uptime 118 days on my VPS, will probably have to upgrade soon since the offer only had 8gb HDD and I could use more, not sure if this offer is valid for existing customers but wouldn’t mind upgrading.

I got 1 xen hvm $17/month vps at nqhost, and has for over 6 months by now

But here’s my review of nqhost, and sadly it’s not good :(

There support is okay quick to reply, but most times they don’t even anwser my questions. They just write “could you try testing now…”

Also i have had soooo much downtime i can’t belive i’m still with them.

If it was not connection/router problem on there part, it was server host related so they just did a “hard shutdown” on the whole system (and this happens alot) :((( they even managed to corrupt my filesystem one time… nice? :(

This is just old pic i took when i did status last time…

    http://eoe.dk/workspace/scan30downtime.JPG

My new problem is that my vps runs very very slow… even a tiny website with static content takes about 10-20 seconds to load with every page..

The whole system has just started to become very slow… commands like uptime/date or what ever even takes for ever :(

I should say the system runs a minimal debian installation with apache, mysql and postfix nothing else.

I “talked” with the support today, but didn’t do much… after 10min the server was sloooow again :(

Over the years i have been with alot of different vps providers (most openvz platform) and nqhost takes the 1 place in “worst one”.

I would rate them 3/10 but only because there xen vps’ are pretty cheap and there support has been okay quick the many times i have needed them by now.

If your gonna buy a vps at nqhost, don’t count on the best uptime or preformance.

And be nice to the support, your gonna need them.

    • As far as I know, our support team spent a lot of time to understand the cause of your problems.
Your VPS is Xen HVM based and the iso used is debian-squeeze-di-rc2-i386-netinst (this is a unstable version).
Here’s the load graph of our node19 server: http://i56.tinypic.com/2l91iyp.png

As you can see, the average load is pretty low. Also, we had no any complaints from the customers with VPS located at this server. The uptime of node19 is more than 3 months.

    Hi julie,

You write that your support spent a lot of time to understand the cause of “my” problem.. hmm
And that the debian release i run is unstable.. again i’m confused

I would like to start out with question 2.
I run this specifike debian release on about 20 other machines at work, and never never EVER had a random shut down or crash.

In addition to that i run 2 other VPS’s with 110% the same setup and release, just hosted with another company. And none of them have had any downtime og random shutdowns what so ever..

Lets just take some of the recent date’s my server monitor says that the server was unavailable.
You say over 3 months? i say a little bit less.. :)

    http://eoe.dk/workspace/scan30-downtime-2.jpg
    – d.2/5
    – d.26/4
    – d.22/4
    – d.21/4
    – d.20/4
    – d.11/3
    – d.3/3

I’m not sure what downtime is for you? But my server had a little more downtime then you can apparently see.

That your support needs to use “alot of time” to understand “my” problems i just can’t follow.
I can see 9 support tickets in your system, and one is about adding rdns. The rest is either “host is down” or “server unavailable”.

I would say that’s your problem, NOT mine..

Although your price and support is okay as i earlier stated, your uptime with my server is not.
This i just me and my server-monitor’s experience.

    Kind regards
    Lasse

    • Let’s check the latest downtime case of your monitoring system – 2nd of May.
      DOWN: 08:15
      UP: 08:20

It’s impossible to reboot the server node with many VPS servers in 5 mins.
We don’t know how your monitoring system check the server status, but these logs are not the reboots of the server. Maybe the network issues.
