ServerCrate are a Seattle based hosting company who have been in operation since the end of 2012. We have listed them three times before; twice under ServerCrate and once under ‘RobertHost’. Robert informs us that they take daily offsite backups of their servers. ServerCrate now offer DDoS protected IPs for $3/mo, which will stop most common attacks between 2-10gbit (depending on the recurrence of the attack). Whilst most of their reviews are very positive, on their last offer, a review criticising their IPv6 was left. Let’s hope IPv6 has now been fixed!

ServerCrate accept payments via Paypal and Bitcoin. Refunds are granted on a case-by-case basis. They stock E3v2 CPUs on all of their servers, as well as LSI RAID 10 arrays, redundant networking/power, and Samsung/Intel SSDs. You can self-set the rDNS of your vps in their VPS control panel. Additional IPv4 addresses are charged at $1/each per month. Nothing illegal (obviously) is allowed. Torrents, Tor exits and Bitcoin miners are also prohibited. VPN is however allowed. For more information, checkout their Terms of Service.

  1. Thanks for posting the offer Liam.

I would like to add that IPv6 is running nice and smooth as of the last month or so. We’ve also got internal networking available free of charge for your VPS, just ticket.

Test IP shown as Canada location, not USA :)

    June 13, 2013 @ 10:41 pm | Reply
    • That would be because avante, the company he gets his servers from, is based in Canada.

Therefore by default ips are geolocated to the whois data.

Canada location will be better deal for this cost :)

      • He can just ask for a SWIP and fix the geo-ip if he wanted to.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, these offers are really, really nice:

    16384+0 records out
    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 1.28724 s, 834 MB/s

    Bandwidth is nice too:

    nick@nick:~$ wget freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null|bash

Sorry Robert is a little DDoS kiddie who has been throwing little fits on IRC, launching DDoS attacks against folks. Avoid this kid like the plague, luckily there is a jail inmate waiting to be his new cell mate

    Here is how Robert operates.

He gets an email from SolusVM advising him of a critical security vulnerability. He applies it to his servers and then decides to run the exploit on his competitors sites and knockout his competition.

This guys should be avoided at all costs!!!!!
