    Sigh. $12/year isn’t $1/month. Neither is $120/decade!

I ordered a server there several months ago and thought, what could go wrong with a $1 VPS? The first 1.5 months everything worked fine. Then the server stopped being reachable. There were users in forums claiming they experienced similar issues (just google them). Servitro explained that there was a hardware issue and said it was fixed – but it wasn’t.

I tried contacting support myself, but they replied several days later, claiming the issue was fixed. After telling them the problem was still there, they said I needed to reinstall my server, which of course didn’t work. After not getting any more replies from support, I requested my money back via PayPal. I was lucky not to lose any data since I only rented the VPS as secondary DNS.

TL;DR: Stay away from them – they don’t seem to have the knowledge to run this kind of service.
