LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

SimpleRack - $6.50 512MB OpenVZ VPS

SimpleRack Chris from SimpleRack emailed their special discount for LowEndBox readers. Use promo code 650VPS to get $12.50 recurring discount on their Entry Level VPS (direct order link).

  • 512MB memory
  • 30GB storage
  • 700GB/month data transfer
  • 3 IP addresses
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

Servers in Kansas City MO. No burstable memory for OpenVZ, and RAID10 is used on their servers. We also have Chris, Cody and Bruce answering people’s comments in previous posts so definitely not a one man shop.

The first payment is pro-rata, so interestingly after you apply the $12.50 discount the first payment is $0. Not sure whether it is intended but sounds like you get a week to try out the VPS there :)

They will change the amount you owe, if you use coupon code and order cPanel. I ordered and the system said my recurring would be 12.32. When I logged in the first time, imagine my suprise that it then showed 18.82. I contacted support and was told that my amount should be 23.50 and that if I submitted a support ticket they would fix it. I submitted a cancellation and refund request, because of the bait and switch tactic. I would consider seriously before I signed up, just my suggestion. Might check some of the other providers on here first :)

I’m their customer since their previous offer. I still happy with my VPS.

    It’s worth more than $5/mo.
