    Wouldn’t touch these guys with a 100ft pole! Make sure you search their past deals and read all the horrible feedback. Great host if you never want your sites to be online though! Plagued with downtime and basically no support. Try to exercise their refund policy and you’ll be accused of committing fraud from their president.

      Couldn’t agree more. I currently have a VPS from them from one of their previous deals and its been the worst VPS Ive had in my life.

      In the past 9 months, it has had to be moved 4 time because of hardware problems or provisioning problems of their supplier (IE they ran out of HDD space in one data center.

      On one of the moves they adssigned me to another datacenter and IP that was already getting the hell DDOSed out of it and their response that I should fix it myself….

      These guys are truly hopeless

    Well, what do you expect? They’re offering unlimited accounts on a reseller with cPanel for $2.30/month. At cPanel’s new pricing, that works out to a loss as soon as they put 12 accounts on their reseller. Or on the 24th account if they have $0.10/user pricing.

  4. This plan will fall apart when cPanel’s price increase goes into effect

    Maybe I have had good luck with this host but I really cannot find much bad to say about them. You will be hard pressed to find better at this price level. Then again I do not abuse and overload with heavy sites…

    Coming up on one year and have had a few hiccups, but support has been responsive and solved any issues. I have even had a follow-up from the owner asking if everything is alright.

  6. They are overselling! My websites are super slow and downtime many times. Don’t buy from them.

      I had load averages of sometimes 20 or more when I briefly tried them out, and that was on top of 98-99% drive capacity on the server too. I noped right out of using them any further. Definitely very oversold servers. Then again, I also had about 60% uptime during peak hours too.

    My site has been down for more than 10 days. Daily requests into support to see what is the problem and when will it be back online. I get one of two answers. Yes it is fixed (it isn’t) or we are looking into it (probably not). I am quite sure they have no idea what they are doing. There are much better companies. I will be moving.

      This is typical SolvedByData service levels and support quality. It’ll never get better.

    STAY CLEAR OF SBD. I see that most of the reviews here are of the same opinion, because these SolvedBySData guys have been consistently bad at providing anything resembling hosting services. They are oblivious to their SLA, when told that they have violated the SLA and uptime percentages, they just shrug it off.

    As trekkiemonster pointed out, the refund policy reference is a no-no according to SBD staff. Rude, oblivious and frankly a waste of time and whatever pittance they sell their services for. Not even stable enough as a semi-test platform.

    Would request LEB to not entertain SDB’s future “offers” here, because newbies may get sucked into their malicious deals. Leaves a sour taste in the mouth for LEB.

      LEB = hosted/owned by ColoCrossing
      SolvedByData = ColoCrossing reseller

      You’ll never see LEB remove these guys. They’ll continue to shill how “great” they are until the end of time because it makes more money for ColoCrossing. Half of the companies advertised on here are just different resellers of/companies of ColoCrossing, who are known to be a garbage provider with poor quality servers and low uptime. They’re cheap enough that a million fly by night hosting companies can open up and resell them. In fact, this comment will probably be moderated and deleted anyway, so you’ll likely never see it as happens with most negative feedback to CC.

      • I’m a little surprised your comment wasn’t deleted. Couldn’t agree more that LEB should never accept an offer from such provider.

    Solve By Data does not honor their up time guarantee. You will be lucky to get 85% uptime, don’t bother dreaming of getting 99.9% uptime. Their support is unprofessional at best, and their responses are comedy gold.

    Solved By Data is a joke. Stay away if you care about uptime at all. Their 99.9% uptime guarantee would be funny if it weren’t so sad to see my sites go down all the time.

    I have always hosted my own servers so SBD was my first experience with a hosting company. What a joke (on me) and the level of support they provide matches the service they don’t provide.

    They moved my VPS to different nodes, wiped my instance more than once, removed my firewall rules without telling me, promised to get it sorted and then no follow up as promised. Last response from them was on 7/10/19.

    The service is so unreliable that I never used it. I signed up on 11/2/18 but I didn’t start tracking the down times until 6/1/19. Since 6/1/19 my VPS has gone down 42 times. Sometimes it’s only down for 5 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes or longer and sometimes it never comes back online so I have to manually reboot the VPS. As a matter of fact, it’s down as I’m posting this.
