Avoid them. Highly oversold, very slow & unresponsive servers.

Worst experience in webhosting ever. I’ve got shared hosting from them for a simple forum. First problem I’ve encountered that their mail server IPs were blocked on GMail. And I wasn’t been able to use 3rd party SMTP, because they’ve blocked outgoing connection on SMTP ports. I’ve wrote them about that. And it took 8 (!!!) days of inconsistent & incompetent answers to get port opened. I’ve felt like I was talking to a wall during that time. Their staff was asking irrelevant things over and over again.

After their servers started to get a lot of outages & overloading issues. My forum was getting a lot of 5xx errors and users were complying about that a lot. From time to time their CPanel & even main WHMCS billing sites were unreachable.

Make sure you read the previous posts of these guys and know what you’re getting into before ordering!

Expect heavy downtime and VERY over-sold servers. Requests for support will be answered by unhelpful off-shore agents, if they get answered at all, and the company most definitely will NOT honor their refund policy. When you attempt to chargeback your payment, you’ll be told by the “president” of the company that you’re “breaking the law”.

Avoid this. Highly oversold. I have to keep my reseller web hosting account idle as I barely can use their services.

Yeah.. okay… five minutes is a terrible judge of time for a review.

Come back in a few days when you’ll be complaining about them like everyone else here. These guys are one of the worst companies to grace the site of LEB.

Avoid like the plague, I paid and their system shows invoice unpaid opened a ticket to resolve and they haven’t done anything to do it. I requested a refund under their policy.

They have 4 hours to respond to my ticket or I’ll envoke my Business Accounts rights under paypal.

I had to go the route of PayPal because they also completely ignored all of my requests for refund after they couldn’t solve the constant downtime I had due to their overselling (my shared hosting server had load averages in the 20’s, and disk usage of 99% – uptime was low 70% daily and always down during business hours).

Had to go through PayPal for a dispute, and then the owner of SolvedByData emailed me all sorts of hollow threats and accused me of breaking the law to get my refund. He was a total joke. I professionally explained my side and invited him to read the ticket history, and all future emails I sent him were ignored.

These guys are top notch children who run SBD. So happy they didn’t get my money in the end.

    I’ve got a downtime everyday for 5-6h.
The don’t provide SLA credits, just close the ticket.

Just dispute your payment with PayPal or your credit card like I did. I got it all back and left.

Constantly finding my VPS down for no reason. Threw in a fresh install with basically nothing on it … still goes down. Wish I hadn’t paid for a year of crappy service because it’s cheap and useless.

Have had SolvedByData VPS account since the Halloween special last year.

Cant say its been a bad product at all. Had to get one support ticket resolved an that was pretty painless, nothing that I’d class as slow or bad especially for the price I paid (18USD for a year)

My host has been up and gets used daily ever since I paid for it and set it up. Haven’t had downtime at all.

Am actually considering getting this deal because it twice as many resources at he Halloween special for only $1.50USD more annually. My host runs ZNC, i2p, ssh and a small httpd and as I said, never have had downtime that I’ve noticed since Oct 2018.

I have been using it for about 1 month. Never had a server went down. The service is reliable.
I would expend my service if it expires

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
