Looks like the ISP and DC is Gyron (http://www1.uk.gyron.net/)

Yeah, I see Credit/debit card and Bank transfer only. Strange, because on bottom it’s visible the PayPal logo. What’s more – price goes 20% higher, due tax (I hate taxes!).

      • Hi David,

I’m proud to say that we’re one of the few providers who clearly display whether prices are including or excluding tax, with the ability to toggle between including/excluding. I, too, hate hidden charges that only show up on the order form!

Regarding PayPal – sorry about that, it’s definitely an option. It should be visible on the order form now.

        Regards,
        Stephen

  3. So the main site is using a play on DO’s theme and Gyron is using a template WordPress theme; Seems legit.

    Nice ping in the UK…

Gyron is legit and high quality. They are owned by NTT.

    Additional disk space possible ?

    October 30, 2014 @ 11:54 am | Reply
    • Hi,

The only way to increase your disk allocation would be to select a higher package – the only exception to this would be if you needed a disk allocation which was higher than our highest pre-made package. It’s just too much admin work to have everyone on custom packages.

      Regards,
      Stephen

Hi, do you offer IPv6 and rDNS for both v4&v6?

    October 31, 2014 @ 9:37 am | Reply
    • Hi Emil,

IPv6 is something we are planning to launch soon, but is not available at present. RDNS is available for IPv4 addresses.

I have purchased a plan from them, all went well and Stephen was helpful. Then I have received an email a day later to say that the offer is for 3 months only and the advertisement here needs correcting. They have offered a refund which I have accepted. Jus thought of sharing this jsut incase if anyone planning to buy.

    Thanks and regards

    Important information

It has come to our attention that there is an error in the wording of the LowEndBox listing. The 50PERCENTOFF coupon is only valid for the first 3 months of service. We have contacted LowEndBox and requested that the listing is updated.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

*Also – the code has expired.

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
  • Akismet is used for spam detection. Quoting webhostingtalk.com URL seems to get binned consistently here, but I do peek into the spam box frequently to publish those comments.
