LowEndTalk is a global community that attracts readers from around the world. Wherever there are people wanting to find cheap VPS systems and talk about hosting, you’ll find LowEndTalk members.
Recently, we were talking with a Ukrainian member about doing an interview. We’ve interviewed many forum members in the past. Although there is widespread coverage of conditions in Ukraine, we thought the perspective of a community member there would be of interest to our readers.
I was already compiling a list of questions in my head when I received news that the interview would have to be postponed owned to the ongoing missile against Ukrainian cities. Our member is taking shelter and obviously has more urgent concerns.
As a forum, LowEndTalk has always been politics-free zone, because (1) it’s not our niche and (2) the obvious incendiary potential of such topics can easily swamp our core mission. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have strong feelings about the ongoing conflict. LowEndBox/LowEndTalk management have family connections in Ukraine and even those of us who don’t feel a strong moral sympathy as we watch the ongoing assault on innocent civilians.
We stand with the people of Ukraine and pray that the guns will soon be silent and peace will return. 🇺🇦❤️

I wish to hear from our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Not political views, life views. Do it, just not on the political views.
Susan – I agree with you!
My family is Ukrainian – though I am second generation. My heart goes out to all those impacted by the war. Hoping, and wishing, for peace and security.
Not a political person but I do know right from wrong. Like you, my heart goes out to each and every Ukrainian. I consider them my brothers and sisters of the world:)
Love to hear how they are handing web business in their trying times. They are strong people; we can learn from them.
You should be proud of your heritage.
It must have been a stressful interview
