VaporNode has been in the industry since 2010. They are not a registered company, but have been filing taxes for the past few years (meaning the authorities to know about them). WHOIS information is public. We’ve actually not featured them before, so let me welcome them to the LowEnd family. They have been around for a while on LowEndTalk, though. VaporNode offers a custom control panel and claims to have a “network and storage configuration that allows for rapid failover”. I don’t know what that means exactly, but it sounds interesting nonetheless. Let’s just hope it’s more than just that. If you are a customer of VaporNode or become one as a result of this post, please share your experiences with us in the comments!

Currently, only PayPal is accepted as a payment method. No word if any other methods will be added in the future, but as PayPal also allows your to pay with a credit card you should be settled. No official word on IPv6 yet, but given that these offers are located at PhoenixNAP I wouldn’t get your hopes up. Even though KVM comes with IPv6, I assume it is being tunneled as OpenVZ does not have IPv6. As always, please read their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before putting in an order!

  1. I don’t think the KVM plan is OpenVZ virtualized…

Curious name (reminds me of vaporware), but the service seems solid so far. HW is pretty responsive, but more importantly Remi is like sitting in front of his monitor just waiting for you to request something. Really fast & accurate handling of user needs. So far so good! Keeping my fingers crossed.

They have a shitty user interface that i can not change root password via panel. Rebuild is unsuccessful. You need to open a ticket to rebuild the server. It takes at least 3-4 hours that they rebuild server. Personally i don’t recommend this company.
