Pete from Vazapi has informed me about their OpenVZ VPS offers. For $4.99/month you can get their “uVZ-1” package (sign up link here), which includes
- 256MB guaranteed/512MB burstable memory
- 10GB storage
- 1TB/month data transfer
- OpenVZ/SolusVM
Listed on their facilities page that their servers are in either Chicago with Continnum, or in Dallas with Colo4Dallas. However there does not seem to be a way for me to select where a new VPS should go from the ordering page. The domain has been registered since November 2009. It is, however, part of a bigger company — ServerMinds, which has been around since 2006 (but subsequently been acquired by Graxis Inc since 2009/2010). Graxis also used to have other low end VPS brands such as BuzzServers and Zabogo — which both are in dead pool now.

Ha. Contrary to “popular belief”, LowEndBox is not an advertisement platform. People send me info on where to find cheap VPS, and I just post them here after a little bit of research. I might add a bit of opinion — purely based on instinct as I have not used their services. Now just cast your own opinion :)

@tommy – Can I ask how you suggest we are in the “dead pool”? We have over 100 clients and growing faster every day. We own our hardware and networks. We are releasing another location in NYC within the next 24 hours. If you ask me, I don’t think a flyby host would own hardware and their own network!
