    Lemme fix those :P

Their site was getting DDOS’d at the time so I couldn’t get them.

    Thanks!

I don’t think the pricing listed here is correct. 5 pounds with 25% off is 3.75. That to usd is ~5.87 per month. If the initially listed price is correct, that LEB special is a really bad deal (relatively speaking).

  6. Nice offer and a well deserving provider after the madness has settled, the OpenVZ service has always been solid I have had a test box for about 8 months now and it is spot on.

Nice to see offers being posted on LEB

    • We are a UK based company but LEB operate in dollars so they show the equivalent in dollars by the exchange rate on the day.

        • Sorry i think you misunderstood what i wrote. We are a UK based company but LowEndBox.com operate in dollars so they use the exchange rate on the time of posting to advertise it in USD.

Just ordered one and got a fast, instant setup, which is always nice.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use it much until the weekend, so idle it will sit.

Does anyone have experience with this provider? I hate to say it, but the website is so bare-bones, I have trouble accepting that they are a legit business. How good is the tech support, etc. Not trying to be a hater, just skeptical given the presentation. Happy to be proven wrong.

VMPort is a great VM provider. I never had any issues with them and the server we have with them is constantly used for things during the week and has many uses and needs, that we actually just recently upgraded it and ordered a additional server for other testing purposes needed with the current operations on the original server. We are also interested in there UK KVM Server packages now too, but overall the tech support is very helpful and is not just auto-mated or generated responses, they truely care and show respect to their customers in there responses and also ensuring they are resolving the issue at hand and open.

Ashley is also very helpful and cares about her business and her customers which is a plus in my book. Please do understand with me saying this, doesn’t mean it will be 100% great like it has been for us and my needs for it with my project, but it has gotten the job done and we’ haven’t had many issues really come, and when we had to submit a ticket, was resolved promptly and respectfully. I recommend ’em. I would always do your own little research and contact to them to ensure they meet your needs and requirements, as that is what we’ve done.

    Thanks.

To my above post, I do not know why I did this and was unable to edit it, but when I was posting and mentioned ‘Ashley’, and continued to type, I did mention Ashley as a female, instead of a male. Very sorry about this Ash. I guess I’m just used to stating her with my employee, named Ashley A.

Again, sorry, and this was just to correct my above mistake stating ‘her’, in the second part of my response.

Having only been a customer for 48 hours, I can’t speak for the uptime of the network but I will honestly report that the performance of the VPS is about average. It’s certainly adequate but nothing that stands out.

I also opened up a support ticket for reverse DNS and while that was responded to promptly, the issue is still not fixed 40+ hours later. *shrug*

    • Hello Randy.

Please see this page > http://vmport.com/contactus.html

We don’t work at the weekends, so in all honesty receiving a reply during then was a bonus. So im sure the rDNS will get sorted out today (Monday).

Also, what more would you want performance wise for your money? What node are you on, if you don’t mind me asking.

      Regards,
      Ash

Website Offline, No Cached Version Available
The website you are trying to access is currently offline. The most likely causes are the server is down for maintenance, there may be a network problem, or the site may be experiencing excessive load.

from 15 Mar I have ticket for refund and today they just closed it!
    didnt receive monies yet

    • Alex, as has been explained to you already the refund was issued but it seems Moneybookers didn’t process the refund via WHMCS, however WHMCS shows it as processed which has probably confused our billing department.

And we haven’t closed the ticket ourselves, they close automatically after 2 days without a reply from you.

I assure you i will personally get this dealt with for you today :)

Sorry for the wait, thank you for your patience.

    Hello.

We have moved our billing panel to its own server since this offer for redundancy purposes and thus the links have changed.

Our main website is also now hosted on a DDoS protected BuyVM box and has been placed behind CloudFlare which is giving us some issues with time-outs etc at the moment. You can however access our billing portal to order via https://my.vmport.com.

If you have any further questions or issues please dont hesitate to contact me directly at a.hawkridge[at]vmport.com.

    Cheers,
    Ash

  23. My review about their UK KVM servers:

I can definitely say you would be a super-happy customer if you live in EU or if majority of your clients are EU-based if you use VMPort :)
