Do you mean the “lowendbox” promotion code doesn’t really work? I had such a problem. Don’t pay the invoice, open a ticket, they will enable your promotion code.

Signed up with these guys this week with this offer. Unfortunately I’m very disappointed. I only have mysql installed and running and the box CRAWLS. For a box with 1gb of ram, basically 0% load, nothing installed, no web server running, I cannot believe how slow it is. I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m not very far(san francisco) and ssh is practically unusable. The lag is like 3-5 seconds for everything I type. It’s basically unusable — and so I can’t set it up. I restarted the vps and it’s still the same problem. I sent a support ticket, and they said “We will look into it”. We’ll see how that goes, and I’ll report back.

This issue should be solved. The performance on the node of your VPS was acting up. We mitigated you to a different node. Please let us know if you are still having issues.

Pure awesomeness , for real.Normally get tickets answered in hours, and their live support is better than most ticket based support teams that i have dealed with.
This is in a $6 VPS, so there is a lot of merit on the helpful, friendly support they give their customers

The gentleman that posted this comment is badly misinformed. We notified all customers that due to the high amount of fraud and our credit card payment processor, we have decided to move to accepting credit cards through Google Checkout and PayPal. This customer refuses to accept our business practice and decision and was given 24 hours to get his data off of his VPS server. Should he need more time, all he has to do is ask.

UPD: i dont know if it is correlate with my previous post here but after that conflict was solved, they made all i asked… so i wish they replay to all customers like they replay to me but without conflicts and with rapid and pleasure support (like it was in last two or three emails)
