LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

Vstoike.ru - $4.80/month 512MB KVM VPS in St. Petersburg, Russia

Главная_-_В_Стойке_-_2014-08-03_16.10.41This surprise post brings us to St. Petersburg, Russia! I found Vstoike.ru on LowEndTalk and decided to feature them on LowEndBox, as this is one of the cheapest offers I’ve seen so far in Russia. These VPS are hosted on modern hardware with Intel Xeon CPUs. They have quite a comprehensive website, though it’s completely in Russian so you’d need to use an online translation tool to read it if you don’t speak any Russian. IPv6 comes standard with these machines and I believe it is native. I’m not sure which control panel they use, but I think it’s a custom one because of the absence of terms like SolusVM or Virtualizor. They seem to be using SolusVM as a control panel. The default port speed is 100Mbps, but it may be upgraded for a fee to either 1Gbps or 10Gbps. Please let us know if you’re a customer or if you decided to try them out. Your opinion is always valued. Enjoy this offer!

The offer

  • 1 CPU core
  • 512MB RAM
  • 30GB HDD space
  • 3TB traffic
  • 100Mbps uplink
  • 1x IPv4
  • 1x IPv6 (more free of charge)
  • KVM/SolusVM
  • $4.80/month
  • Order here

Please note that this is a surprise offer! Vstoike.ru did not send in an offer. Please stay patient in case things take a while of if they don’t respond (immediately) in here.

Vstoike.ru accepts WebMoney, PayPal, credit cards, and some other payments methods for payments. Various OS can be installed and I believe they’re even willing to add an ISO per your request. Servers come pre-installed with the OS you select during checkout. Their Terms of Service should be read before ordering, as usual. All payment methods are also listed on this page.

My password on all new vps’s is temp123 for reasons like this. Change it manually afterwards.

The given website names it as Virtual Server. Nowhere does it say that it is KVM or OpenVZ

Strangely enough I cannot proceed to checkout on https://secure.vstoike.ru/. Whenever I click on big green button ‘Continue’ – nothing happens.
Apparently this line (”) on a page loads HTML content instead of a javascript which causes parsing error and hence its content is not parsed. The page returned is 404 Not Found.

Just signed up to test the provider. I can’t share the positive experiences others reported. I performed now several speedtests to servers in Europe/USA and Russia and the result is far from 100mbit.
