Confession time: we want to grow our social media presence. Besides the economic reasons, it’s also part of our core mission to educate people who are paying way too much for hosting services. Someone who was paying $6/month for a 1GB VM and can now get a cheap VPS for a third the price is in a better spot than before they met us. That makes us feel good, and of course it makes our advertisers feel very good. It really is a win-win-win situation.
We get some traffic just from people searching, word of mouth, etc. but we are putting a bit more effort into social media. So if you’re on one of these enormous networks, why not give us a follow, like, or view?
We promise: no duck faces, no stenciled eyebrows, and no driver’s seat selfies.
If you’re look for us, find us on:

With deep roots in the *nix world, he has a passion for systems both modern and vintage, ranging from Unix, Perl, Python, and Golang to shell scripting and mainframe-era operating systems like MVS. As an avid user of LowEndBox providers, Raindog runs an empire of LEBs, from tiny boxes for VPNs, to mid-sized instances for application hosting, and heavyweight servers for data storage and complex databases. He brings both technical rigor and real-world experience to every piece he writes.
