Confession time: we want to grow our social media presence. Besides the economic reasons, it’s also part of our core mission to educate people who are paying way too much for hosting services. Someone who was paying $6/month for a 1GB VM and can now get a cheap VPS for a third the price is in a better spot than before they met us. That makes us feel good, and of course it makes our advertisers feel very good. It really is a win-win-win situation.
We get some traffic just from people searching, word of mouth, etc. but we are putting a bit more effort into social media. So if you’re on one of these enormous networks, why not give us a follow, like, or view?
