LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

XSRoute - 1GB KVM VPS, $6.50/mo for Windows or $4.30/mo for Linux in Canada

XSRoute

David, from XSRoute, sent us their first offer for the LowEndBox community. This offer uses the KVM virtualization with SSD storage for performance. Linux and Windows are supported and the servers are located in Canada with OVH. Take note that IPv6 and BitCoins are not supported.

Nope, doesn’t seem to be. If a post is going to contain a registration number it should list where its registered and maybe even a link to the registration information.

Otherwise its just bullshit to help a company look legitimate.

Well, it’s their claim at least. Could be a DBA, most states don’t list DBA on their internet database to my knowledge. Do with that what you will, of course :)

  6. I am a LEB user since quite a long time, here is my review

They XSRoute company i know since 2007 when they used to offer linux shell accounts and webhosting.

I used one of their vps which is having incredible speed, the gigabit port and SSD drive combination is awsome,

the most of the valueable thing is DDOS protection, which is the need of time and it is absolutely free with their plans,

one more thing, I have never face any technical problem with them since i bought my 1st vps and now my both vps are having uptime of 60 and 45 days respectively, I know this company not gonna be one of the dead pool and it is the best value of the price.

I highly recommend this provider, in terms of reliability, stability and support this provider is best.

    Regards

My XSRoute server has been down for the past few hours. There was no notification about migrating so I’m assuming this is not that and I haven’t received any emails about what’s going on nor I can find status page for the company in the search engines. Also their own website is down so clearly a network issue. Not very impressed about the way this has been handled.

They’re still down and have been since yesterday. I’ll post a refund request as soon as they come back up. There has been 0 communication about this and is absolutely crap behavior. RamNode has been super stable for me for the past year so I just got a new instance from them to replace XSRoute’s.

Looks like they are hopeless. I complained bitterly last week when my server (which I asked for one in the UK – actually ended up in France — and worse, at OVH!!)

so they honoured their SLA by giving me next month free.

2 days later and ever since, server is down.

          Their website is down.

          They are friggin’ hopeless. Avoid!
