YourVZ - $13.50/Year 128MB OpenVZ VPS in Scranton

YourVZ Justin from YourVZ actually emailed me their “Rugby World Cup 2011” promo code last week, which is also posted on WHT here. Use promo code RWC2011 to get 10% off recurring discount on all their “Silver” and “Gold” VPS plans. Silver 128 is $13.50/year after the discount, and here is the direct sign up link. You get

  • 128MB guaranteed/256MB burstable memory
  • 10GB storage
  • 200GB/month data transfer on 1Gbps
  • 1 vCPU at 1GHz
  • OpenVZ/SolusVM

PayPal-only, and servers with HostNOC/BurstNet in Scranton PA (test IP: 184.22.204.211). See their previous offer for comments and discussions. YourVZ is run by Justin from South Africa, who was the winner of last Rugby World Cup in 2007, beating England 15-6 (garrhhh hates Wilkinson’s drop kicks). Who will win this year’s RWC is yet to be seen — South Africa again? The All Blacks? (Will we get discount from QuickWeb if that’s the case?) The English? (Cheap UK servers please!)

Nobody like the Frogs as you never know what team is pitching on the day?
Some days you will have a team that will beat almost any team in the world and others you will be playing an emotional wreck that wants to eat you alive but can’t compose themselves to take a bite.

I’m not sure if SA will be able to do it tomorrow as we have lost against AUS the last five times we played them, but the again it’s World Cup and Cooper + Pressure work great together.

To be honest If SA don’t make it I will be pitting my All Black jersey on. I lived there for two years and have developed a soft spot for the Kiwi’s, hell my daughter was born there and if that went better I probably would still be there and watching it Live.
