LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

Zabogo - $4.95 OpenVZ VPS with 256MB

Updated August 2010: Zabogo.com has been up and down for quite a while, and has now redirected to a domain parking page since 6 July 2010. FAIL.

Zabogo Via this WHT offer. Zabogo is part of the Graxis Inc company, and can probably be called the re-incarnated version of BuzzServers when BuzzServers got sold to Graxis back in July last year. They have a new promotion at the moment offering $1 off their cheapest VPS plans using coupon code 1DOLLAR. That brings the price down to $4.95/month with the following spec:

  • 256MB guaranteed/512MB burstable memory
  • 2GB storage
  • 50GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ

From the test IP it appears to be in ChicagoDallas. While the domain was only registered in July last year, as said before that it is part of a larger company that has quite a few web hosting business under its wing. Good amount of memory for running sites with even Apache — but you might soon find yourself limited by the amount of disk space & monthly data transfer limit.
