XFuse Solutions, LLC are back with their third offer for LowEndBox readers. Brian informs us that since their last offer, a lot has gone on. They’re now a registered LLC in the state of Louisiana and they’ve implemented private networking within their KVM host nodes. Private IP addresses can be assigned on request via a support ticket. Along with the LLC registration and Private Networking, they’ve also launched their first OpenVZ Node. With this in mind, they’ve created these two packages so that you can help them celebrate all of this good news! I found this recent review on WHT. If you’re also a customer, please do leave one below.

XFuse Solutions accept payments via PayPal and Google Checkout. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Clients can now also set their own RDNS from SolusVM. CentOS 5, CentOS 6, Debian 6 and Ubuntu 12.04 LTS are all available in either 32 or 64bit. If you require a custom Operating System, send them a link to it and they’ll upload it for you. Then they will assign the Operating System to you, so only you can see/use it. As usual, we advise that you read their Terms of Service and Acceptable Usage Policy before purchasing.

  3. Right before this post was made. The network speeds where upgraded for all VM’s on all nodes to 1Gpbs ports. Any new VM that is setup will have this in place as well.

Perhaps this file was removed by the operator to prevent logging last info.

Uhhhhhhhh I think I’m going to get a refund if I can’t get a clean debian install.

      • I have assigned the templates that you requested to your VPS. Each of our KVM plans have a support key that is on the template. This is only used for support use with your permission.

First time I read that in AUP :

    Large File Policy:
XFuse Solutions is not for file hosting and distribution – as such, customers may not host any files larger than 50MB in size that are observed to be available for the sole purpose of download.

(basically means I can’t share my Galaxy’s 1080P vidéos of my daughter for exemple as they are all above the 50MB limit. That’s pretty strange)

    • This applies to our Shared Hosting Plans. It was not very clear on the page and I do apologize for that. I have updated the AUP to reflect what it applies too. You are fine to do this with our VPS Plans.

  5. This is sort of related to question above about video. Forgive me if this is a dumb question (sometimes we misinterpret the intentions). Just to be clear, your AUP indicates that no audio or video files can be streamed. Does this mean if I have a video tutorial that I’ve created and want to display on my site, that’s not allowed? Or an audio interview that I’ve done, I can’t upload it to my site for viewers to listen to? Thanks for your help.

    • If the content is legally yours, it is allowed. I have updated the AUP to show this is allowed as well.

Because my personal website is so very tiny, I had been trying to hobble along on several different “free with no ads” hosting providers. All the ones I tried were pretty much a sham — constant site availability issues. But since I wasn’t paying, I couldn’t really complain.

I came across this site (lowendbox.com) via google, looked at a few of the offerings and decided to try XFuse.

So far, so good! For trying it out, $3/mo isn’t going to break the bank. I’ve already moved my content & db over, the site verified and DNS updated.

Hope this is the last time I have to move providers for a long, long while! :)

A brief note – I’ve been looking for a LEB for a while now for some backup storage in the 20GB range, and the $3 deal seemed like a good bet. Brian was very helpful in getting me past some auto-detect fraud issues (I guess based on my payment details not matching my source IP address; I reside alternately in two countries separated by half the world so this has caused problems for me in the past), and also helped me fix up a mistake I made with the order. He was very responsive via email.

As for the VPS, everything works as expected so far. A ‘just works’ solution for such a low price + good support makes this a no-brainer solution for me.

  8. Their services page links don’t seem to work: http://www.xfusesolutions.com/services . I can’t click any of them. Added to z1s.org free uptime monitoring: http://z1s.org/dashboard/checks/514070ca39bc2cb1390094a3

    • Thanks for pointing that out to us. We are working on the billing system end for the links. Once we have the changes finished up for that page, the links will work. We hope to have that finished soon.

Thanks for adding us to your site for monitoring.
