RamNode are celebrating the launch of a brand new location! As well as Atlanta, Georgia, they now provide both OpenVZ and KVM servers in Seattle, Washington.
128MB OpenVZ SSD | 256MB KVM Cached |
RamNode LLC have been around for about a year. They recently came second in our 2013 Q1 Top Providers poll. This is the second time in a row they have appeared in the top three, following a third finish in the 2012 Q4 poll. Since their last offer, OpenVZ Cached plans have had their disk upgraded. RamNode are using servers equipped with Intel Ivy and Sandy Bridge Processors, Samsung, Intel, and Kingston SSDs, WD and Seagate Enterprise HDDs, LSI RAID cards. Looking back at old threads, there has been demand for a west coast location for sometime. It’s nice to see more locations outside of California!
RamNode accept payments via PayPal and Google Wallet. Refunds are offered with 3 days of your first invoice on your first service. Nothing illegal in the US or anything that is disruptive is allowed. Adult, Tor (Relays only; No exit nodes), IRC and VPN is allowed. TUN/TAP–PPP is available. You can view their OS list here. For more information, take a look at their Terms of Service and Acceptable Usage Policy.

I got one of their Atlanta 128’s in the last offer. Very impressive and the company seems great. I’m going to resist the Seattle one (must resist…) because I don’t know what I’d do with it, but it’s tempting anyway. The one add-on I’d wish for is the availability of disk space upgrades.
I’ve used their Atlanta location for about 5 months now and just migrated one VPS to Seattle… (Must… resist… buying… more… RamNode… VPSes…)
All the locations work great! I prefer Atlanta since it’s closer, but I do need Seattle to vary my backups geographically. Nick has done a great job getting Seattle up and running, and if I have the temptation to buy even more services from him I will do so gladly.
Until then, must… resist… buying… more… VPSes!
I caved to buying a KVM…
lol
i like ramnode, very cheap and stable, keep on your good job .
Just got a Seattle VPS. Ping is much better than I had expected.
Already own an Atlanta one and I’m rather happy with it. A little annoyed my node had two small instances of downtime in such a short period, about a week, but it’s just a bad coincidence. Nothing wrong on RamNode’s part. Very much worth the price.
Every VPS node is 1Gbps Port Speed?
What is the price of addition IP and bandwidth?
And is there any plan to launch new database at US west and south?
Every node has a 1Gbps port. Additional IPs are $1.50/mo. Extra TBs of bandwidth are $4.00/mo. No plans to open another location at the moment since we just launched Seattle. Seattle will cover the west coast quite well.
Thanks Liam!
We are very happy with our Seattle location so far!
Looks like a small typo on the 128MB OpenVZ Cached – should be 50GB.
“more none californian locations” → “more non-Californian locations”
Now that’s an excellent offer, congratulations, Nick! :-)
I own 3 VPS @ Ramnode and I’ve been a really happy customer. I sell high-end webhosting, and my clients are also super satisfied with the service :-)
I’ve got three VPSes as well. All solid performers; I couldn’t be happier.
if KVM 256 mb ram no good…
minimal harusnya ya 512 lah atau lebih bnyak… percuma soalnya kalau segitu
I have a 128MB SSD in Atlanta from last time and couldn’t be happier with it. I got it for a sandbox VPS, mainly for writing scripts. Being SSD, OS reinstalls are pretty much instant and the network seems very good. Very happy.
I’m happy with Ramnode. Do limit your torrent client speeds, though! The LEB35 promo code applies to all slots, not just the ones listed here. It’s a lifetime discount. Solid download speeds from UK. Purchased 34 days ago…34 days uptime. If you choose Seattle, update your repos to mirror.pnl.gov (credit Manacit)

Someone did in fact use the referral link. Thanks for making my day!

Yes,
I do recomend Ramnode. Best experience so far for little money. Not one single complaint so far. I hope you can keep up your good service without overselling.
Thanks!
I’m happy with RamNode too. Purchased 5 month ago, just 1h downtime for node upgrade kernel. Great download speed from China.(Seattle)

Got a 512MB CVZ-E5 in Seattle. I’d been with RAMNode when they were still at Incero but didn’t follow them to ATL since I already had a VPS there.
I’m definitely glad to be back though:
Wonderful speeds and great BW allotments compared to the other providers I’ve seen in Seattle.
Thanks guys!
I got 1 with them (installed with mikrotik), they’re offering great service !!
That’s fast.
RamNode is totally bad a$$. Disk is alarmingly fast.
I picked a new Seattle instance (annual cached disk) up before the news broke and this offer. Let’s hope the natives of LET/LEB don’t go ruining the service and performance.
Keep schooling the VPS wannabes Nick_A.
Definitely a very nice offer. I’d love to see another east coast location some day.
Ramnode is stable and fast.
Most important, support service from Nick is fantastic!
What is the status of becoming Cpanel/whm noc?
We will officially be a cPanel NOC on the 29th. We should have it available within a few days of that.
RamNode is incredible!
I’ve been with them about half a year and they’ve never disappointed.
Congrats on finishing up the Seattle expansion! Everything seems great from this end.
server good but no stabil
Can I use this to run a private Torrent client?
Although I ended up getting a refund due to my own locational problem, I can say that Ramnode’s service is very good and solid and ticket response is quick.
If you are looking for the 512MB OpenVZ SSD plan, please note that the links are wrong. They are pointing to the SSD-Cached plan. Check our website for the correct plan and use coupon “leb35”
my blog is hosted on Seattle 128MB SVZ. ramnode is good serve.
Hi Nick,
Do you have debian 7 openvz template?
Yes we do: https://clientarea.ramnode.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=48
Nick, what is your cancellation policy, say if I want to switch to another plan? Can I cancel an active vps at an arbitrary time, and get credit for the unused part? Thanks.
Sure, we can do a credit.
Hi! Does LEB35 coupon have an expiration date? I’m interested in a 2048MB SKVM. Thanks!
For a few more hours, a 40% off coupon is active (“SOMUCHDRAMA”). LEB35 doesn’t have an expiration date. Both apply for as long as you have the vps. See my comment above. And use the referral link while you’re at it =p
I got a Seattle 128MB SSD vps when the drama coupon was active, but didn’t get around to setting it up til just now. It is absolutely the most responsive VPS I’ve ever used, even though I’ve had some considerably closer in terms of ping time. I just couldn’t imagine running a more-than-slightly-busy database on a spinny disk VPS at this point. This is great.
Good to hear Paul!
How this for ssh tunneling..! i need more speed for this tunneling
