Crissic accept payments via Stripe, PayPal, and BitPay,Β Credit Cards processed via BrainTree with a 10 day money back policy as standard. In short, their AUP forbids IRC, Bittorrent, P2P, Warez, spamming, or anything illegal in the USA, however does permit private proxies and VPNs. Additional high-speed bandwidth can be purchased for $2.50 per TB. Backups are made weekly on VPS nodes but of course you are encouraged to keep your own backups, they also have a fairly detailed step by step process for spam/bulk e-mailing. Their TOS is available here and AUP here.

Hi,
Is TUN/TAP supported and can it be used for personal VPN purpose?
Thanks
Of course! Torrenting is still forbidden even if done via VPN, but personal VPN use is fine. TUN/TAP can be enabled in the billing and solus areas.
is there vSwap involved?
Each OpenVZ package comes with an equal amount of vSWAP as RAM (EX: 1GB Special has 1GB ram and 1GB vSwap)
I’m thinking of ordering a second VPS just because Skylar was intellegenet enough not to hire a random moron for Crissic support: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/30449/crissic-net-not-so-transparent-bad-provider
For those interested in using Bitcoin to pay, BITPAY has been slow and has yet to upgrade our status so we can process more than $100 a day. May be limited and/or delays in processing with Bitcoin until they resolve. We hope to have that resolved soon.
Been meaning to check this out. Picked up an OVZ256 — we’ll see how it goes.
I got my server setup the way I wanted it. So far it’s working reasonably well. Support was friendly and helpful.
Disk I/O is a bit on the low side, though. I got 19.3 MB/s yesterday and 28.9 MB/s just now with the dd test.
ioping is also a bit worse than my other servers.
10 requests completed in 9.2 s, 43 iops, 175.8 KiB/s
min/avg/max/mdev = 124 us / 22.8 ms / 64.6 ms / 24.7 ms
Can you drop us a ticket so we can take a look?
After moving to another node, the disk I/O looks better. 174 MB/s dd test, and ioping is much improved too.
10 requests completed in 9.0 s, 7.7 k iops, 30.2 MiB/s
min/avg/max/mdev = 99 us / 129 us / 157 us / 18 us
Bitcoin payments should be working once again.
World Class Support. Very good provider. I have three boxes with them ageing almost a year by now and I am very happy. Definitely recommended :)
The main difference between this offer ant your last one is more storage space but the second free IP is gone. What are the current email limits for OpenVZ yearly plans?
Correct, 2nd IPv4 hasn’t come with the packages for a while due to ARIN entering stage4. Current email limits are 500 in a 10 minute period, obviously no bulk email of any kind is allowed.
Your AUP mentions “More than 400 Emails in a 24 Hour Period would be considered bulk email”, so what is a safe number in order to not be marked as bulk/spam?
If it’s not hitting the SMTP filter of 500 in a 10 minute period, and it isn’t marketting/other “but it’s opt-in blah blah” stuff, then it’s fine. Have a super active forum that has lots of registration/pm emails and need the limit increased? That’s fine with us. Anything that resembles spam of any form, regardless of compliance, isn’t allowed.
Crissic is my first VPS. I bought the last year OVZ Special Deals.
And it isn’t a mistake to chose them.
Support is always quick, and helpful.
I learn a lot of managing VPS using Crissic.
I trully hope crissic will be more successful in the future.
Thank you for your kind words :)
do you accepting file upload?
Our AUP is here: https://crissic.net/aup
We do NOT Allow “Video Game Servers” Not all of them drink CPU
We do NOT Allow “ANY P2P Software” – Personal use is allowed almost everywhere else
We do NOT Allow “IRC Servers” – why not?
We do NOT Allow “SEO Tools” – Not that CPU intensive as Ram is a more important factor.
We do NOT Allow “Video Streaming/Conversion” – I love FFMPEG
you should rename your tagline to Crissic Solution – VPS provider for web hosting ONLY.
About KVM, do you provide Windows operating system?
Nice service. I’m from Russia, but I use this service and have fun. Good luck, Crissic Solution!
Love my service with crissic. I might take another one for backup.
Save me $45/year for similiar package from another provider.

almost signed up, thanks for posting speed test, this is garbage..
We have a new router on-site that we are working on setting up to replace our existing router as we’ve outgrown the router we have in place at the moment. This is a known issue with the existing router, and should be resolved this weekend with the new router in place. Speeds will return to normal once this has been completed.

good job skylar
Thank you for the kind words! That’s a strange result for cachefly with the rest being okay. We do have some outstanding network issues that are being resolved tomorrow with the new router :)
Skylar’s company is very good in providing VPS, I have one with them and so far no problem. Its been more than 6 months I guess. So, I like to recommend them to you guys if you guys are interested in them.
Probably, I will order one more from crissic.net.
Regards,
Usman
Thanks! Always glad to hear people enjoying their services. If we can ever do anything to improve, please do let us know!
Already ordered a new vps and got it too. Thanks!!!
Prices are life-time or only for first year?
Thanks
lifetime :)
Not anymore.
I will build red5 streaming server could you support this ?
Thanks,
Billy
Media servers can be okay as long as it’s legal and load is low.
Very nice. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s enough for me to try and learn about vps. Thanks!
Big space but torrenting is now allowed. it’s better you give 10GB but in SSD.
Just want to spread more Crissic love. I know everybody knows them and their reputation anyway, but it can never hurt to give good feedback about good companies.
I have my VPSes spread out over four providers. I keep my important stuff on Crissic. It has had service interruptions, I once didn’t react to a policy change in time and fell afoul of AUP, but every single time I’ve had to contact them, they’ve responded quickly, knowledgeably, and thoroughly. Actually, they’ve responded very quickly, extremely knowledgeably, and absolutely thoroughly.
Can’t recommend them highly enough.
Thank you for the kind words :) Service interruptions should all basically be resolved now that we have our MLX-4 in place :)
I don’t see a ToS on your website. Couple of questions:
1. Do you guys allow torrents (STRICTLY) for personal use?
2. IRC Bots/bouncers
3. For OVZ256, is 750GB the bandwidth per month or for the whole year?
Thanks!
1. Not allowed
2. Bouncers are fine
3. Per month, resets 1st of every calendar month

just disable your VPN or whatever already when signing up VPS.
Why would you hide your location when none of the VPS seller enforces geo-restrictions for purchasing.

Keep it up :)
till when does this offer lasts
seems network section for solusvm about enable/disable ipv6 -ovz- does not work.hmmmm
just asking for maybe a stupid question here.. :(
is the traffic bandwith (for 1 year) will be re-traffic each month?
or it just whole traffic for 1 year, without rebuilding the traffic (as the package)
Your bandwidth is a monthly allowance, resets 1st of every calendar month :)
Traffic may seem good, but if you have high peaks your server will be disabled for ~2 hours
We run a threshold at 500Mbps for a sustained period, 99% of the time triggers for that are DoS related.
I’ve been using Crissic’s VPSes for the past year and I’ve never hit a brick-wall with the service or the support or anything. Unlike other providers, Skylar is a very nice person and he’d support you no matter how big is the issue you’re having. I wish them the good luck and all the very best in future! :)
I just signed up for their 512MB Yearly plan, needed a VPS for my brand spankin’ new free .xyz domain :). I really love Crissic’s client area design, it’s nice and simple! I’ve only had an hour or so to play around with my VPS but so far I’m enjoying it.
Does anyone here know what the uptime is like?
i actually need to offer reseller accounts i.e webhosting using a vps, is this allowed? and what plan?
also i ll be hosting wordpress blogs!
That’s fine, I don’t have any suggestions on what package to start with, likely a 512MB or 1024MB package.
As a side note, we do not allow FREE hosting to be used with these units, but PAID hosting is okay.
I’m a happy customer too! Picked the OVZ512 and everything went smooth as.
Thanks a lot for this great offer.
You look nice, I am planning to move 20 vps. I am little concern about disponibility, is it a way we can see when you go down.
my biz crucial hours are 20-23 EST and weekends
Gentleman, would you like a cigar?
Uptime reports? I’m not totally understanding the question, but we have a page that shows servers and if they are up or not — working on adding in uptime statistics.
https://status.crissic.net/
when the OVZ256 special ends? Unfortunatelly I paid 3 weeks ago VPS and I can not move until late august.
No ending ETA as of the moment. If it keeps selling, it stays put.
Hi,
Yesterday I ordered my VPS from crissic, Initially it was looking good but when I tested the benchmark I was quite disappointed about its result when I compared to my other VPS providers.

Hey! Crissic team can you help me!
Regards
Can you drop us a ticket so we can investigate? Thanks!
Signed up for OVZ512 yesterday. Got assigned node OVZ05, its under some serious I/O abuse. Opened ticket right away and they taking their time to do anything about it. My I/O speed range from 35.0 MB to 85.0MB. More often on the lower side of that range. I don’t think they have system in place to prevent I/O abuse. If you get on a good node, you will be OK but i think I’ll be requesting refund unless they going to solve this and prevent it from happening again. Might have to just stick with RamNode as something like that never happens there for over a year I’ve been with them.
They resolved the issue but just couple of hours later it was very low I/O again. it seems like their nodes get abused by customers too much. Most of the comments here point to low I/O, sure you can open ticket and they will suspend abusing account but it will reaper all over again just in a couple of hours. Today i requested cancellation and full refunds and they issued that right away. Will give them a chance again in a year if they still around.
@Sly, did you get your I/O issue fixed? I was about to join until i saw your issue.
I had I/O issue as well on one of my VPSs with other provider.
We have since resolved the IO issue he was encountering, however he had requested a refund just prior to resolving it. As always if any issues are experienced, drop us a ticket and we’ll gladly investigate.
Just read their Accepted Usage policy, all I can say that is: Screw you guys i’m going home (ramnode).
What in particular do you not agree with in our AUP?

I’m really disapointed, unprofessional support and lack of technical expertise to solve problems.
Furthermore it seems this is only a single person and not a company?
If you comment, send some more information into your comment other than Β΄all and everything sucksΒ΄. Sources?
Technical tickets are answered 4~8 hours, while billing tickets are almost answered instantly.
Responses to technical tickets are plain phrases left you in the dark what to do e.g. “Your container is currently offline…”.
All tickets in each category are processed by the same person, thats why i’m thinking it is a sibgle person business who cannot delivere 24/7 support in emergency cases. The same person seems really busy on this forum, might be better to be more active on his/her business instead.
Server performance is good, as long as the server is available, but from time to time it is not reachable for multiple hours.
Hello,
I am typically the one answering support tickets. We aren’t a single person business, we currently have 3 staff employed. Small, yes, but not a single person — you just see me most often as the others work more behind the scenes.
Billing tickets being answered instantly vs tech of a few hours isn’t anything to do with prioritization of tickets, that sounds more to do with the timing of opening tickets.
We’re actively working to provide true-to-word 24/7 support, and anticipate having something in place in the not too distant future. We have extensive automated systems that would alert us to potential issues and we would act on it, regardless of the time of day — so if there is a node outage, network outage, etc fear not as someone is looking into it and working to resolve it as soon as we are notified of an issue.
Sorry if some tickets come off as overly-simplistic. I’ll work on improving explanations in all cases so you don’t feel left out in the dark, as that isn’t the goal here.
skylar and this company have pretty much have been on the ball with support and security like um alot
Why don’t you allow video streaming is there a particular reason? I would use VPS for online education course which incl. video. Is there some content exception?
Promotion still available/valid?

Hi, I am a newbie when it comes to using vps, but I really want to try using your vps service. I want to know.. Can I use you vps service for my websites that has autoblogging wordpress plugins??
I take 256MB VPS, but it was small to me, so I opened ticket and asked for upgrade to 512MB VPS.
I didn’t get faster support in my whole life, so fast that it is still unbelievable to me that they answered my question and then resolved issue as soon as I clicked refresh page.
Great job, thank you, you have my best recommendation !
Best Regards, :Denis

Do not buy from crissic.net they are crooks. Their services do not meet the reality.
No ticket answering for last 5+ hours
@SkylaM any update about this
I mean @SkylarM
I replied. Sorry for the delay on the ticket.
Curious, I’ve seen you’ve ok’d irc bounces. What about legit IRC bots, not ddos bots, or abusive bots, etc?
Those would be okay

Hi. Is that ‘OVZ1024’ $30 / year, still available? When I add it in the cart it comes up to $60.00 USD Annually!
