It’s been about a month, and I’m really happy with my VPS from tragicservers. I like the name. Better than some of the others on this fine blog :D I can tell you I saw the name and thought “yeah right” at least once before I saw the deal I jumped on a month ago, and I’m glad I did. Can someone puts details?
Been testing 5+ VPSes with them and performance is low. They also double charged me (by mistake) and rather than refunding they credited the additional charge against “future usage”. When I wanted to cancel the service they (again) refused to refund those charges. Overall, be careful…
As per our ToS, which you’ve agreed upon, we do not provide refunds. We provided you account credit for the additional payment you made. You proceeded to abuse your VPS and place multiple chargebacks. Both which are against our ToS. Best of luck with your new host.
I still using a 2GB server from them . I migrated a wordpress installation with some plugins. When I monitor the RAM usage, it tend to use almost 100% all of the RAM. I wonder, what has this wordpress site with +-30 visitor has done so it use so many resource. I have installed the same wordpress installation on another provider (also 2GB), and it is 2 of them who has more visitor combined. They don’t use RAM that much.
However, this is cheap so if I get that kind of performance I can understand. I also respect their company so I’ll use their service this time being.
