Nice Offer.
Has been use this vps for about 2month with no downtime :)
Congrats on 2 years!
Any chance these offers extend to your SSD machines?
The pricing doesn’t seem to be right on all three OVZ offers. I already have had a great VPS with them for quite a while and have been quite happy with them :-)
It’s coupon based, so the correct price shows up on the completed order form prior to payment.
Hm, it says this when I go to checkout: “The promotion code you entered has been applied to your cart but no items qualify for the discount yet – please check the promotion terms”
Make sure you don’t change the billing term from the order link. If that doesn’t do it, which one are you testing? They all appear to work from here.
Yeah, I was changing the billing cycle, I didn’t realize the offer was only valid for annual billing cycles.
Never mind, I guess the offer is only valid for annual billing cycles…
I’ve got the $10/year ovz256 in both locations. The Los Angeles location has especially nice routing to the Philippines (makes a nice vpn).
Before purchase, be sure you’ve checked their “hard” AUP:
https://crissic.net/aup
It’s a fair AUP if you ask me and that’s one of the reasons I got a VPS with them. The only ones that think its a “hard” AUP are the ones that want to abuse their servers, use it to spam, or do something else that’s illegal.
Quite agreed. The performance and the stability highly depend on what users do with their boxes. A harsh AUP helps box with legit purposes perform better.
Anyway, I have been a happy customer for a year. I have an OVZ box in Jax, and the uptime keeps great. Recommend Crissic.
I did check check their AUP and TOS before hand, and they look fine to me.
a happy customer with their superb network & uptime for one year. i used for dns-hosting. thanks Skylar. Anyway, if you allow to use SEO Tools, it will be more sexy :)
Just got replied that can’t get upgraded from the current $10 256m plan to $13 512m plan, only new order can use that coupon.
Please contact me if you want to move content from your servers. I am not crissic partner, just a consultant
I have purchase a VPS with 13$,
But Why my VPS is pending?
the price is 60/y now for the plan OVZ512.
the scam
i was just re-check the price, it is 36/y
OK, the price will be modified when you really pay
I’ve had great uptime with them and support is swift. It’s sooo tempting to get another one. Keep up the good work, Skylar!
Woops! Looks like Crissic.net is down. But my VPS is still fine.
不错,挺好,支持了。
Please respect other users.
IO is a rock hard disk!
My 4th server with Crissic, and I am thinking of migrating my other 2 servers on different hosts to crissic as well. Best VPS host ever
Stone hard disk!!
QuadraNet now has direct connect with China telecom & Unicom. Great network to China in your LA location.
I have 4 VPS boxes with them and I have to admit they have been amazing and the prices have been great. Sometimes support has been a little slow in the past if you want a true production machine but lately I think its been way faster. AUP hasn’t been a problem even though I have had an issue or two in the past with overuse due to some weird java problems, they have been really understanding and never kicked me off. Would totally recommend to anyone needed a fast bandwidth machine with great resources.
I’ve got the $10/year ovz256 in both locations, and have a very nice expirience. so this time i have purchased ovz512 and ovz1024 in both locations.
thanks and congratulation 2 year anniversary :D
server not found in order page, doh..
If you are using OpenDNS, you need to swap to something else for now. OpenDNS doesn’t seem to know we exist for some reason.
FWIW, the offer says 16x IPv6, but really you should get a /64 in SolusVM.
I mentioned this to kossen, he hasn’t updated yet sadly.
Hi,
I can not order new servers. Website is too slow.
Do you possibly can offer more price cut on longer payment terms? For example for yearly in kvm product?
Hi,
I can do a manual invoice for the monthly promo rate at an annual package (so x12) if you want.
I am tempted to buy OVZ1024 but I never had any experience with crisis, does the coupon valid for future upgrades if I buy an OVZ512 this time?
They are good. 90% of my servers are with them
Would it be possible to change my current similar plan to this price point?
it is a good vps~
Is hosting a Bitcoin Node allowed since it is not related to mining?
I’d love to see providers in europe with such offers
You can try RamNode, they have an offer in the Netherlands which is almost as good as this one. I use RamNode and they’ve been great so far.
I’ve just ordered one from Crissic as well and was up and running in minutes; so far so good.
@SkylarM
Can you be more specific about “CPU Intensive”?
Max CPU load in 15 minutes?
max load is typically 3, we do reboots from time to time if a node is at insanely high load levels (script checks for 15 min load avg of 3 or greater, reboots, issues an automated ticket).
Great experience with Crissic. Purchase and setup was smooth and fast. Had a basic web server up and running within 5 minutes of purchase. Performance is excellent. Customer portal is very simple and intuitive. I look forward to purchasing from Crissic in the future.
Can someone post the benchmark test, any offers with ssd or ssd cached disk.
Thanks ndha, which location?
OVZ512, QuadraNet – Los Angeles, California, USA
Keeps declining my credit card and debit cards and we don’t have paypal. :(
We enforce strict AVS and CVS fraud rules. If your address submitted is different than your card issuer has on file, it will error out.
I just confirmed both, from the bank, and in the account as well. Still not working.
Does this price continue as long as the account is valid or after the term will it return to standard pricing?
When are these plans valid till?
No ETA at this time, when we run out we run out.
Do you allow irc ?
Is this offers still available?.
I am seeing 60$ for OVZ1024 yearly.
Price updates after you add to your cart.
Have purchase LA KVM512 this morning. Disk IO seems pretty slow..
========================
root@saturn:~# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 6.96095 s, 154 MB/s
========================
Average around 100-150, sometimes bellow 100.
Does this disk IO normal for Crissic KVM? Have submited a ticket, waiting for reply.
Thanks..
that is slow? what is fast?
Hello,
Well first I’m not complaining here, just to make sure it’s the io speed provided. I also experienced io speed around 36-70 which I think pretty not normal for Crissic server. If it’s the confirmed speed then it’s fine with me..
Thanks..
You realize that’s the speed of HDD is not SSD, right?
I see, I reacted because you said “Disk IO seems pretty slow..” followed by a 154MB/s DD test. This topic has been discussed many times before at LET, and usually the consensus is that DD alone is not a good indicator of disk performance. but my opinion, 154MB/s is very good for DD, specially on KVM.
How many times server stay down or being hit my DDoS?.
Is there any anti DDoS protection?.
I was planning to move from my present VPS. Always down everyday and getting hit on CPU load.
Sorry, A typo… it should be by* not my. for DDoS.
Hello,
We do not offer DDoS protection. We do utilize BGP Null communities and will nullroute IPs that are hit with nullroutes, and will suspend VPS caught performing outbound DoS. This is fully automated and tickets are sent to the customer(s) when an IP is nulled, and when the null is removed.
i using this vps very recommended, anyway that promotion still valid? i plan to buy OVZ1024 24$/year
sorry the promotion still valid :P sorry for asking stupid question

All OVZ in Jacksonville have gone:(
Jacksonville will be out of stock for now, and will not be available for the duration of this promotion. However, LA is fully available and will remain as such until the end of the month.
Please do discounted 2gb KVM please :D Needed it badly.
Drop us a ticket and I’ll let you know what we can do.

smaa, try again! I see it still working.
I ordered an OVZ512 LA a few days ago and absolutely love it.
For $13/year, this is the best deal ever!
Plan to move from Digital Ocean to Crissic soon
Thanks Crissic
Hello,
I need a seedbox for occasional torrenting using public trackers. Can I also transfer files over sftp?
In the acceptable use policy, it states they don’t allow bulk email, which means more than 400 emails in a 24 hour period.
Does this mean outgoing only? If I receive a lot of email, but only send a few, will the policy go into effect if I receive more than 400 messages in a day?
If the purpose is to prevent a VPS spammer, I would imagine it only applies to outgoing messages. But I wanted to make sure, since I will be using is as my personal email host.
I have paid yesterday morning, but my VPS is pending still,I am anxious
Hello, everyone,I have purchase a VPS with crissic.net on April 26, 2015, But Why my VPS is pending? I submitted the tickets, but no reply.
Is the promotion over? I tried to order a 2 GB VPS, from both locations, but got the retail price.
Thank you
can the old 256MB/OVZ upgrade to this 512MB/OVZ ?
Argh…no more promo?
Warning!!! These guys are the worst on the planet
Set this up as a backup server, for cPanel, MySQL, etc…. Heaven forbid ANYTHING send them traffic, right?
Traffic rate? 1M/s
Bandwidth for said “DDOS”? 75meg
Do NOT sign up with these guys unless you are prepared to deal with inept customer service, pathetic disks, etc…
2YEARSALE2 # The promotion code entered has expired #
Is there any other promo code?
Do you have any promos for OpenVZ SSD plans?
The $4 discount on KVM1024 just works paying by month, not year.
Don’t buy the VPS, believe me, I moved from Ramnode to Crissic because of the price tag and realized it’s a most stupid decision I’ve ever made. Their disk is so slow that it takes forever to pull some data down to local…
Are they in business?
Ticket has been sitting, nobody cares for, bad guys.
Purchase two cPanel licenses with them (not seeing them say Internal or External license limit when checking a post at WHT), worked on first month. Next month after I paid for a license, they say this service is not available for external client.
Ask for refund. No refund.
A big company can not refund just $12.00? :)) That’s good news for me. Still in Paypal dispute.
A small secret for whom wants to play with them! :)
cPanel has a very few select providers that are allowed to sell external licenses, such as BuycPanel. We do not offer refunds on cPanel licenses (or any license for that matter) as we get billed per license we have active, regardless of how long the license was active for. Unfortunately we did not notice the licenses being activated for external IPs until after cPanel had reached out to us indicating that it was external licenses. I do apologize for the confusion and will make sure to get our website updated to reflect that these are internal use only.
This is not a big problem. I can agree to cancel a license in second month.
A REAL SUCK is in second month when I PAID for an invoice and you did not renew it. Do you think about refund my money? That’s simple to put a reason “Virtual good, no refund” in Paypal dispute, but I guess you also can do it with any unhappy client as well!
Ticket ID: #416403
When selling like hotcakes sell like this, should stock a lot. Do a little depleted stock, rich retailers only.
I want to order a VPS, when available stock?
+++ CANNOT RECOMMEND CRISSIC +++
Freshly purchased vServer got traffic spikes (havn’t touched the server) and got null-routed immediately. After sending a ticket and asking whats going on i got blamed that it was my fault and my responsibility.
One hour later i was banned and my server was blocked. No more responses from crissic after asking for money back.
Performing a charge-back to get my money…
Seemed that Crissic was taken over by Quadranet. That was followed by a Datacenter Migration from Jacksonville to Miami last weekend.
Now my VServer is not working since two days. Opened a ticket, got an answer that everything should be fine now, it is not. The server is not reachable, also no reboot etc. is possible. Any others here experiencing the same problem?
Crissic was my favorite provider. After acquired by Quadranet, service gradually decreased. Sometime reboot itself, sometime cannot SSH, etc. OK, time to move on. Looking for another good provider now.
same here, really slow.
Luckly I had moved my sites a month ago
Blank page load and not there to buy services in the client panel, the company will close?
Apologies for bumping an old post, but I’ve used Crissic for over a year now, and I have absolutely no complaints. There was one hangup that was resolved incredibly fast. Compared to most other cheap VPS services, this gets an A+.
very rude service. they suspend your VPS whenever they want!
They suspend your account !
Suspended my account because of payment, while it is paid.
No answer for almost 2 days.
Expired SSL certificate on customer area…
What’s going on? Crissic.net made a boo-boo?
I have 4 services with them and hosted for years, but suddenly this year they just not remind me on renewal but suspend my vps instantly upon expiry. checking with them, being ignored. I believed they are going to close down anytime, better move out your services from them while you can.
I wouldn’t buy from them. “This site can’t be reached\n crissic.net took too long to respond.”
