Via this WHT offer. DevPH has labelled itself as “Budget Xen VPS” hosting provider as well as SMF forum hosting/themes/mods solution provider — I personally don’t know how those two are related but you never know. Anyway. They have a 25% off discount on WHT, and by popular request they are also listing a “XEN Lite Package” for $5.95/month (using this order link). You get
- 128MB memory/256MB swap
- 2GB storage
- 50GB/month data transfer
- Xen/SolusVM
Servers are with GigeNET in Chicago. Domain was only registered in October last year, by registrant in Philippines — therefore it could be hard to verify whether it’s a legitimately registered business.
By the way, I seriously don’t think your Xen VPS will be hosted on a pair of PowerMac’s…

Main IP/primary NS resolves to UBER, secondary NS resolves to Cogent (?).
@ InsDel – They claim they’re at Gigenet though?
I don’t know then – maybe it’s changed along with the website design; it was some time ago.
Maybe their normal hosting packages use GigeNET?
Anyone order from them and can confirm where they are?
They are Mac Pros not PowerMacs. There is two CD drive slots on the front.
Damn. I know I can’t really distinguish all those nice computers a few years older than my beloved VIC-20 :)
