LowEndBox I’m kinda disappointed you are promoting this. The bad things about this provider vpshostingservice.co
– There is no backup terminal access in the event of firewall misconfiguration
– There is no option to reinstall the OS
– KnowledgeBase is emtpy so you have to contact support
– Server OS is pre-installed with software packages you may not want
– The UI is buggy and does not allow for managing SSH keys
I have asked for a refund & will go back to my current supplier with apologies.

I ordered this and I am requesting a refund as well.
– The 16gb VPS was so under-performing (used yabs) compared to an existing 8GB VPS service I currently have with them
– The 16gb VPS was created at their Toronto location when i specified another data center.
– I submitted a ticket to correct this and asked for permission to recreate the VPS with the usual disclaimer of data wipe.
– Despite recreating the 16GB VPS in the correct datacenter, they also ended up wiping and recreating my existing 8GB VPS as well!
Their support staff is so incompetent. I don’t plan to renew my service with them after my term is up. This 16gb deal was enticing enough for me to get another VPS but not worth the headache.

I still have existing VPS service with them and to be fair and my current experience is that I have not had any service issues with them yet. That said, the deal is good but YMMV.
I was just really upset with my order provisioning, and the mishaps of how their customer service idiots handled it of them killing/wiping an existing VPS that I had when I was specifically addressing the new 16GB VPS order. I had my own backups but still, just wasted time/effort on my end. With response to Jonny
— You can be granted the ability to reload your OS, you have to request it.
— It’s a KVM and within the control panel, you still have the ability to access it if you somehow lock yourself out via firewall rule. If you know what you’re doing, you would never put yourself in that situation to begin with.
I’m not crazy about the VPS server host considering it’s claiming as “Premium High-Performance”
