Another Bonus Code for ColoCrossing's Fall Giveaway! Win a Synology NAS, Meta Ray-Bans, a Quest 3 VR, or Dedicated Server Service for a Year!

ColoCrossing Fall Fiveaway

Community provider ColoCrossing‘s giveaway is open all this month.  Between now and September 30, you can win one of these prizes:

Did You Know…

That ColoCrossing once owned LowEndTalk and LowEndBox?

The sites were originally started by LEAdmin.   After quite a few years of pioneering the community, he sold it to a guy who went by @Chief.  Chief didn’t keep it long, before he sold it to ColoCrossing.

ColoCrossing was subsequently bought by Deluxe.  LET/LEB entered a period of decline because Deluxe didn’t give the sites much love.  ColoCrossing was then acquired by HostPapa, and LET/LEB were spun off to its present owner, Jon Biloh.

So that’s a bit of lore for you…and you can use the coupon code: enter code DEEPLORE in the appropriate spot in the Gleam widget below (you may need to enable JavaScript and cookies if you don’t see it), and you’ll get 5 bonus entries!

And Speaking of ColoCrossing…

Be sure to check out ColoCrossing’s special offers for our community, where you can get a cheap VPS for only $11.00/year.

ColoCrossing offers service in ten datacenters around the world: Buffalo, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, San Jose, Toronto (Canada), and Dublin (Ireland).

And wasn’t Jon Biloh the owner of the original ColoCrossing?

Yes, I founded ColoCrossing in 2006 and sold it in 2018 to Deluxe.

Are any of the physical prizes sponsored directly by ColoCrossing? If so, I wouldn’t trust on them to come through with providing the prizing for everyone.
I never got any reply/prize when I won the ColoCrossing credit from last year on https://lowendbox.com/blog/colocrossing-giveaway ; despite replying to the email in hours, and following up on it again the day before they made a blog post about how “successful” the giveaway was. I doubt I’m the only ColoCrossing credit winner who got ignored.

To my knowledge, every Giveaway ever ran by LowEndBox has ensured that every single prize was awarded. This includes Giveaways sponsored by LowEndBox directly, RackNerd, Interserver, ColoCrossing, etc.

I will raise this with ColoCrossing directly and ask them to contact you for clarity.

Thank you for that, Jon. I’ll spare the details, but I have gotten the credits awarded now, so I’m satisfied with the outcome :-)

Hello, thank you for bringing this to our attention and for sharing your experience. We want to sincerely apologize for the delay or miscommunication regarding your previous ColoCrossing credit prize. That is not the experience we want any of our winners to have.

I completely understand your hesitation given your past experience and we will ensure that prizes are fulfilled correctly. Could you please confirm your email or contact me at srattner@colocrossing.com so that I can investigate what happened and make sure your credit is processed promptly?
