Elliot from BeastNode sent us a great offer and we’re excited to pass it along to you guys.

We’ve featured BeastNode in the past and really like their service. They do a really great job and are extremely responsive to any tickets and customer service questions.

In case you need reminding who they are, BeastNode is a major Minecraft server hosting provider that has expanded their operations to provide competitively priced cloud VPS hosting, web hosting, and dedicated servers.

They wanted to bring the same level of quality that they achieved as a Minecraft server host and carry it over to other hosting services. It seems that what they’ve learned from offering the best Minecraft hosting has translated over to their cloud VPS, web hosting, and dedicated hosting and they’re quickly growing to be the best in those fields as well. Their mission is to provide the best performing service at the best prices with no drawbacks.

Their WHOIS is public and can be found here. They are a registered company based in California, USA. (201223310215 – http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/)

Is there a coupon code? Servers are appearing as $40 dollars per month not $6.

    • Hi,

The promotional code is included in the link. So it will say $40 but at the checkout it will be $6 Recurring.

    • Unfortunately not at this time.
But it is something we have setup in house for testing at the moment.

It’s a nice improvement over OpenVZ and we’re working to get it ready for public sale.

Is your promo valid for one month only, or I can renew my VPS each month for 6$ instead of 40? Or it’s for the first month only?

This the message I get when I go to check out:

The promotion code you entered has been applied to your cart but no items qualify for the discount yet – please check the promotion terms.

    • Hi!

The promotional code works for monthly only, any other billing options won’t work.
But if you’re looking to rent long term we can generate the remaining invoice after the order is complete.
To do this you’ll need to open a ticket under billing https://www.beastnode.com/r/billing

    Hi Elliot,
Would it be possible to buy 2x 4GB VPS and have the resources of both servers merged or pooled into one?
    Thanks.

    January 31, 2017 @ 8:30 am | Reply
    • Hi,

While we don’t mind separate plans; combining multiple plans can cause issues with load balancing between servers.

We aim for all resources within the host node to be utilized efficiently and without overselling.
As our primary service is a game server and with lot of our clients use the VPS for hosting other games.

An overloaded VPS aren’t a great environment for game servers. We’ve found multiple smaller VPS packages utilize the available host resources more efficiently than larger packages.

Hopefully that gives you a bit more insight and a much better answer than a simple unfortunately no.

Thanks for the detailed and insightful response, Elliot.
However, is there an email ID that I can contact you at, in order to discuss my specific usage scenario and try to convince you? It’s just that I already bought 2 of these 4GB servers while waiting for a response, fearing you might run out of stock :P

      • Matteo:

        Hello Elliott
I manage a few website, only one of them is an organization that send one time, every year, e-mail to 5000 (average) subscribers that want to be informed and to receive email about their annual event. I use for them phplist, 100 e-mail every hour. Is it OK ? Another site use phpmydirectory (noto bulk email). Thanks

        January 31, 2017 @ 9:26 pm | Reply
        • Hi Matteo,

That would still qualify as bulk email.
Our datacenter has a rather strict policy when it comes to email and even that would be too much for them.

Emails for sites such as forums, where emails are sent out on an as requested basis, meember subscribed to a thread or password resets.
          Those are fine.

Sorry that we could not fulfil your request.

          Best,
          EM

    • Hi,

As we mentioned in your ticket; due to our stock selling out for Chicago quick this morning and with manual inspection on your order we sold out before we could complete your order.

We don’t want to overload our nodes, why start now.
You’re at the top for the next available server if you wish.

A refund is there if you wish. We do apologize for the inconvenience this caused.
