Brian from Big Brain Host emailed me their new LowEndBox exclusive offer. It has been a while since their last offer here. They are now back with a new fancy design + a nice low end deal. Here is the sign up link and for $5/month you can get the following VPS “LEB-512MB Special”.
- 512MB guaranteed/1024MB burstable memory
- 40GB storage
- 600GB/month data transfer on 100Mbps
- OpenVZ/SolusVM
They have recently turned one year old. According to Brian, they have had some big changes since late last year. They now have their own colo space in Northern Virginia and have been doing pretty well. You can traceroute their home page to find out that their servers are now with InfoRelay in Ashburn VA. That has been a big change since the early days where they were reselling VPS from Virpus.
Pretty standard AUP. Take Credit Card and PayPal. One nice review on WHT and from previous posts, Big Brian Host excel in support.

Hello,
Thanks for listing us again, LowEndAdmin!
We’re just about out of stock on these orders! All orders from the last day or so have been processed and have been successfully setup.
Hi,
I guess you are firewalling the VPS ports which precludes the use of SSH alternative ports. Is it possible to disable your firewall on a per VPS basis?
Thanks.
Hi Francisco,
We do use a firewall to protect users. Just submit a ticket to the helpdesk if you require another port for SSH.
Regards,
Brian
