LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

[BLACK FRIDAY] SupremeVPS – Cloud SSD VPS Resource Pools from $30/yr for 3 VPS in Los Angeles, Chicago, and NY!

Courtesy of SupremeVPS’ own Mike, we’ve got a fantastic deal on SSD VPS resource pools this Black Friday. SupremeVPS is a regular on LowEndBox, and we certainly acknowledge their contributions to the community and hope you enjoy their BF deals they are presenting here today!

Their WHOIS is public, and you can find their ToS/Legal Docs here. They accept PayPal, Credit Cards, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum as payment methods.

Here’s what they had to say:

“A Cloud VPS Resource Pool is a new way of VPS Hosting – it’s essentially a pool of resources that you can mix and match your resources with, depending on your available resources within your plan. Whether you wish to allocate all resources into one giant VM, or split them up between multiple VMs – it’s up to you!

We also added a new datacenter location option, New York. If you order one of these, you’ll now be able to deploy VPS’s on demand in three locations, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. There is limited stock available for Black Friday so be quick to purchase if you are in the market!”

    Very dodgy provider.
VPS instances constantly unstable and require maintenance or shutting down on their own.
    Highly unstable for anything important.

Bought a server with Supreme VPS in their LA data centre back in July. Here’s a quick review (I’ll write a detailed one later..)

Support: 9/10 (They always respond to technical support within minutes, but the sales tickets can take a few hours sometimes)

Server Performance: 10/10 (fast SSD servers)

      Network Speeds: 10/10

Uptime: 10/10 (have not noticed any downtime)

Been fairly pleased with it myself – no complaints here.

So badly want this 15x deal but I read the comments in the previous deal they had and I’m not entirely confident. Everyone deserves a second chance. So i’ll keep monitoring.

      • Chip:

When you say you haven’t noticed downtime – do you monitor your stuff, like ever?
Because I always do – Jetpack + UpTimeRobot for WP stuff and it works magic.
I just can’t tolerate my server to be down EVERY SINGLE DAY for a few minutes at a time, especially if you run high-traffic sites.

        • Jeffrey:

Yeah. I’ve got mine monitored with some external services including Nodeping.

Sounds like you might have just gotten a bad apple out of the large bunch and sounds like something they can probably fix up quickly for you. Try to contact them and hopefully they sort it all out for you :)

Good luck and Happy Black Friday.

Here’s to making the large bunch smaller. They had mine suspended without notice, and had to get nasty to get them to unsuspend. Mike is not the sharpest tool in the shed as they say…

As for the VPS being stable, hell no. I get spammed with notices of timeouts from UptimeRobot.

Hi Mike, the original ticked ID was 998106.
I tried to resolve the issue many times with you while my VPS was down to no success.
I appreciate the refund, but after moving the VPS around server nodes and it not working externally, whily you had access to it it’s not a solution.
I appreciate the refund, but honestly, after my experience (I have over 50 hosting accounts in about 25 different providers) I can not recommend your service for anything of importance.
The downtime was just too much and it was not resolved for the duration of the service.
Funny how the same setup works on EVERY other Ubuntu VPS I have but just couldn’t make it work on yours.

        Customer since 7/18/18.
I have no complaints on my side about Supreme VPS. The service works as advertised and it runs one of my most busiest application servers.

Remember folks (just saying this as a generality, not targeted to anyone specifically) – these are unmanaged servers, just like 99% of the other offers on LEB. If you come to this site, you are paying a low price for a server, and as such, you are responsible for maintaining your servers, or at least having a technician who knows how to if you don’t. If you want a managed VPS service, you should look to pay a premium price with a provider like Knownhost.

        Frank.

        • Randy Freeman:

You can’t maintain your server into no timeouts my friend. Their abuse of their OpenVZ metal is on them, and no amount of management is going to help you. You can hire Linus Torvalds. Also, you can’t fix stupid, and that’s what I think of Mike, the owner.

This is the worse VPS provider I ever had.
      VPS are constantly inaccessible.
      Tickets accumulate fast.
You waste more time dealing with their problems than doing anything useful.
I had never this kind of troubles with any other provider.
      Don’t waste your time.
You can be lucky for some time by not for long. Trust me.

  2. Trey:

No issues with SupremeVPS here. Their servers are quite fast if you ask me. I am sure with every LEB provider YMMV, but I’ve moved the majority of my instances from DO + Vultr over to one of their last offers and things have been working very nicely for me.

I do regret buying a couple months ago though, should of waited for Black Friday. These deals are much, much better! Hah.

    • Good Morning,

We simply provide the bare metal VPS infrastructure, and deliver it to you with full root access based on the Linux distribution you choose to deploy with.

From there, you can configure the server however you like, as you’ll receive root access.

Hope this helps answer your question.

    One question:
vSwap allowed for each instances on this VPS pool?

    November 24, 2018 @ 6:21 am | Reply
  15. Purchased the least expensive deal and have had poor network/server reliability. I wanted to see if their services were worth investing in, and so far they are not. I have had my server up for less than 24 hours and it has already been down for over an hour. When it is up it seems to be fast, but this much downtime is unacceptable. I think they are getting DDos attacks which are overloading their network. I don’t think it is the servers, but the network. Hopefully Mike and I can work through this, i’m willing to be forgiving and patient. I just hope something can be done!

  16. Andrew:

I purchased the 15 x VPS pool offer and was unable to create a VPS in 2 out of the 3 regions (only New York worked). The other two regions simply gave the following error:

    > Auto select error (No free nodes found in group LA SSD OVZ)

I wrote in to support and simply got a response saying:

    > Kindly try to create vps in new York location.

It looks like they are maxed out and selling resources they don’t have. I’ve requested a refund since they aren’t allowing you to create a VPS in the regions they are advertising here. I’ll update if I don’t get my refund as they specify a 48-hour refund window on their homepage.

I recommend a hard avoid and will be calling this a complete scam and report to Paypal if my refund request is denied.

Bought a “SSD Linux 8GB” Instance, with:
    8x 3.30 GHz CPU
    8 GB RAM

I cannot use the 8GB of RAM, when I try to more than 3 GB, the system became unstable and the apps crash.
The number of CPUs is totally fake: I see 8 cores, but they work like 2 or 3 cores, really slow and unstable.

Moreover, my server goes DOWN EVERY DAY for several minutes every time without valid reason.
I cannot recommend SupremeVPS’s services for anything of importance.

I good deal, but they have no inventory. I purchased the 5x deal, and immediately there were no resources in LA, only CHI and NYC, then CHI filled up the next day. NYC does me no good due to latency for my needs.

Also, outdated Fedora templates, and no ETA on when new ones coming in.

I think they are trying, but i’ll try another.

I have just opened my 9th support ticket with them this month. My VPS has been unreachable at random times nearly every day. To their credit, they do “fix” it quickly when I open tickets, but support seems to not be following up to find a cause for the constant outages. Their response is just “open a ticket and we’ll fix it” every time. I got a very cheap deal a few months back, so maybe they want me gone, who knows. This will likely happen soon. Told them to notify Mike (the owner) on the last ticket, but no one did as far as I know.
