          The servers are located in Virginia so obviously you would have to remove legit DMCA notices.

  3. I have just ordered the 2GB Special VPS. Everything looks good so far. The core is an Intel E3-1271 v3 running at 3.60GHz.
    I have run some benchmarks and so far the host server does not appear to be oversold or overloaded. I will post an update if anything changes.

    So far this service appears to be quite a great deal! :)

      • Today I was served with an abuse notice for “using 100% or more of shared CPU time.”. Given the large number of VPS services I use and have used in the past for the exact same purpose I was very surprised to have this happen. Having recorded all player activities in my logs I found nothing out of the ordinary in terms of CPU usage (It was ever so slightly above the average, with my current highest loaded server having three times this ones load). It appears that they do not have the same CPU abuse standards as other hosting companies I have worked with in the past.

      • After some conversation with the support team is appears that this service considers a server load of 1.00 to be 100% CPU usage as per section 20.2a of their ToS. This is strange as the VPS is a quad core service and one would expect around 70% usage on each core (load of 2.8 on a quad core vps) to be a fair way of rating 100%.

        Given this information it may be wise to not order the higher core count VPS services if you intend to run applications which bring your VPS load above 1.00?

        I will post for information as it becomes available.

      • I would like to add that while I was served an abuse notice my service was NOT suspended. Other than the fact that a notice has been sent everything else is operating perfectly. Their servers remain completely fine with no latency/cpu spikes that I can detect. The service is still offering premium levels of speed and reliability.

      • After some further communication it has been found that the peak load I have been spiking to is what has caused the issue (and abuse notice). While my baseline load has been quite low (the server sits idle 18 hours of the day) there have been uncomfortable spikes during peak times. The support team has conveyed that due to the nature of their server infrastructure that this level is not sustainable at the amazing low end box prices. I happen to completely agree as for the same level of load on my UK servers I tend to pay upwards of $20 a month USD. I have taken steps to lessen the peak load on their service.

        Despite the nature of the notice being negative the support team were able to convey all relevant information and issues in a timely and concise manner. Their level of professionalism has been outstanding (Both Jordan and Ishaq). A++ level support.

        I suppose you mean to share copyrighted material? :’) There can be tonnes of legitimate cases of copyrighted material: think about self-hosted IPBoard/XenForo, which is completely legitimate. Only paying the license and a not-too-expensive server can cut the costs of their managed hosting solutions.

    Why do your TOS usurp all of our rights to everything that we put on our VPSes? It’s OUR stuff, not yours. I just want to rent a place for it, not give it all to you for your own use. :-/

    This is bat shit insane:

    8.2 You grant to us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, store, adapt, publish, translate and distribute your content in any existing or future media / reproduce, store and publish your content on and in relation to this website and any successor website / reproduce, store and, with your specific consent, publish your content on and in relation to this website.

    8.3 You grant to us the right to sub-license the rights licensed under Section 8.2.

    8.5 You hereby waive all your moral rights in your content to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law; and you warrant and represent that all other moral rights in your content have been waived to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

    “Moral rights”??? What is this?

    9.3 Your content, and the use of your content by us in accordance with these terms and conditions, must not:
    (b) be obscene or indecent;
    by whose definition???
    (i) be blasphemous;
    WTF?? (wait, is WTF blasphemous??)

    I seriously give up. Good luck with that.

      We are already aware of a problem causing speeds to be considerably slow due to the permanent DDoS mitigation we have in place. We’re working with the upstream to restore full speeds.

    they’re talking about over the internet. You certainly realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important.

    More people have to read this and understand this side of your story.
    I can’t believe you’re not more popular given that you definitely have the gift.
