There’s quite a bit in the news now about “Black November”. Previously, merchants had hoarded their special deals and released them on Black Friday, but now in order to goose sales, they’re appearing earlier in November – even in October. This is partly because the Christmas shopping season is so compressed this year, with Thanksgiving not landing until November 29.
