  1. KVM 250GB is out of stock, and the order link for KVM 500GB is broken.

    • Hi, have got Lowendbox staff to fix the 500GB order link. KVM 250GB restock is being worked on. This offer was submitted sometime ago, so do apologize for this.

I’ve had the 500GB storage plan in Dallas (albeit upgraded to 512MB ram) since.. march, I think. No problems what so ever, no down time, performance has been fine and support has been quick to answer every time.

250gb and 500gb can be used in anything? Meaning not storage only?

    • Hi, yes, it is a VPS catered for storage purposes, but can be used for anything.

Do you have an Ubuntu 14.04 x64 template available yet ? Would also want to be sure ip_conntrack and ip_state modules are loaded for iptables support.

    July 13, 2014 @ 7:10 pm | Reply
    • Will have this available shortly. Modules should be loaded. If problems. Contact support.

My wife had previously been hosting her business website with Hostmonster, and it was performing very slowly. I migrated to Cloud Shards and it’s running very well, it’s standard LAMP – joomla/php, apache, mysql, the usual. It’s not a very high traffic website, but it needs to be responsive.

I am using munin to monitor the server and it indicates that the server is responsive, doesn’t detect much cycle stealing.

I had to contact them over something minor and they were very quick to respond.

Overall then I am happy to recommend Cloud Shards.
