Check out these awesome prices, guys:
Amazing, right? We had a ticket recently in which the would-be poster offered these amazing prices:
- cPanel VPS – $4.00 USD
- cPanel Dedicated – $4.50 USD
- CloudLinux – $4.50 USD
- Plesk VPS – $3.50 USD
- Plesk Dedicated – $4.00 USD
- DAReseller – $3.00 USD
- LiteSpeed – $4.00 USD
- Imunify360 – $3.00 USD
Wow!
Needless to say, this is a scam. I’ll let LowEndTalk member @0xOkami explain what’s up:
The cPanel shared licenses basically exist out of overwritten / nulled license files and blocking the original cPanel licensing servers. It’s basically paying for a crack, most of the shared licensing providers utilize “GBLicense”. It’s a system which utilizes proxies in order to activate a lot of services like DA, cPanel, Imunify e.t.c. e.t.c. Since they do not have to pay for anything at all, 100% of your payment is basically profit. Most of the cracks regarding cPanel though are not stable and usually goes down (due to WebPros) adding more checks in their systems.
9/10 systems also put a backdoor in your system leaving you unprotected.
On this particular scammer’s web site, they talk up “free technical support” but of course that isn’t through cPanel. It’s through their Whatsapp. And let’s be real – if you start asking in-depth questions, they’re going to stop responding and pocket the profits you’ve already given them. It’s not like they’ve got a fleet of cPanel experts on standby.
So if you see somebody offering “shared” licenses, forget it. If You want cPanel, you unfortunately have to pay cPanel prices.
