Here is the offer Haas from Cripperz Prodigy has sent me, which he has also posted in LowEndTalk earlier this month. Two promo codes available for following two OpenVZ/SolusVM plans:
- CheapVPS Blowout
- 64MB memory
- 10GB storage
- 500GB/month data transfer
- $10/Year (+$1 setup fee, coupon code LEBNOV01, Direct Signup Link)
- CheapVPS Bronze
- 256MB guaranteed/384MB burstable memory
- 20GB storage
- 500GB/month data transfer
- $2.50/Month (+$1 setup fee, coupon code LEBNOV02, Direct Signup Link)
Payment in either PayPal or AlertPay. I suspect the 64MB offer has 128MB burstable memory as noted in my previous post. Servers in Kansas City MO with Datashack. They are based in Singapore (so you can put “lah” at the end of every sentence in support tickets), they’ve started in 1998 as a PC shop, had a bit of transformation over the years and now doing web hosting + design stuff. They had also been mistaken as a dead pooler last month, which Haas posted a response on his blog.

Is it up yet?
its up =)
> now doing web hosting + design stuff
I wonder who designer their ugly site
haha… go see the portfolio at http://www.cripperz.sg … that cheapvps is just some template we pull in and just dump stuffs inside, been bz. I am thinking to just use a html page now, with tables, no frames, no design, black and while and just put every static link to whmcs … that way, some smart ass wont say its nulled, etc
=x
When do it started not working?
based in Singapore
So, do they also understand Indonesians? :)
Yeah i can understand some Indonesian / Malaysian
It’s a pity that we can’t actually read Haas’ blog post. Dark gray on black? That’s really readable….
@drmike welpz…notice that its due to that stupid whmcs bridge.. i totally disable that and not gonna use it. css now back to the normal template one.
If someone can confirm the 128MB burst… :P
Nope, just pure spanking glorious 64MB ram and that is it. Unless it’s 32MB burstable to 64MB :)
holy craB lol
haha …im just offering this 64mb. No burst nothing. Now test ur skills by using 64mb. Install and tweak everything down to minimal. Now LEA’s guide gonna be really useful for those who grab the deal =x. haha!
“haha …im just offering this 64mb. No burst nothing. Now test ur skills by using 64mb.”
Actually, on OpenVZ that should be, “test ur skills by using 32mb.”
It would be impossible to come close to “using 64mb”.
That’s some painfully slow IO there…
It used be better, but lately over-crowded I guess.
RAID 1 with only two drives?
Hmmm, nevermind…
haha stop playing with the dd will ya ? =x … sorry server just got rebooted, thus that speed, someone knocked over my power cables or something. thats I/O on vpssvr3 where all the yearly plans are allocated.
Why don’t you mix yearly & monthly plans? That would help share the load on the different servers…
(That could slow down even the montly plans, which would probably not be a good idea though)
:D
@Bob
i might have missed out your comments there. Well normally the year plan users are on lower specs and what they have usually are openvpns, pptp, some irc bots, small web which is definitely easier to cluster them all together because their usage wont be that high other than the bandwidht. So i can always keep an eye on the bandwidth bottleneck instead of monitoring everything that matters to load balance the use / fair usage.
Thats the reason why i separate the monthly users and the yearly users onto a different box. The monthly users do contribute quite a significant bit and so far good to know that none of them really open a ticket for anything other than tun/tap request. Usually the monthly users are more skilled / advance users who usually knows what they are doing and why they need such config – what they will / should be getting. so yeah..
Someone in the datacenter knocked my power cables again? the vpssvr3 was shutdown =/. Sorry guys. vpssvr4 is not affected though. So those on vpssvr3 are mainly the yearly users might experience a short downtime.. rebooting the server back online.
It’s still down.
@Mike im not sure which vps is urs. But what you can try doing now is to boot it via the solusvm panel. just boot it once. it should come online. if still doesnt, open a ticket and i will check it. cheers
Guess I’ll throw in my thoughts.
I’ve got 2 VPS with Cripperz, the Basic and Blowout at $20/yr and $10+1/yr respectively. The Blowout one does have 128MB burst. One is offline at this moment, and one is online. I use the cheaper as an IRC bouncer and personal proxy, and I don’t even use the more expensive one because I have no other side projects and it’s too unreliable for a production environment.
Haas is a nice guy, but I wouldn’t host any important websites or services on these servers because of the downtimes and performance issues.
At $11 though, it’s decent enough for personal use I guess.
P.S. Clean up your IRC channel, it’s full of spammers.
@kalam,
thanks for the feedback. Yes what you advise is a good one. The 10/year will be reliable enuff as an alternative backup vps, proxy, vpn, etc. vpssvr3 seems to have performance issue and i been figuring out how to careful load balance that buffalo properly =x … however for those per month plans, you will always be put to another node which is vpssvr4 where equal share of node resource is being given out without tweaking any of the settings.
I will try and normalize vpssvr3 again. What a bad luck, the server just went off / trip on the day LEA posted my offer ..haha ..life!
@kalam
oh yeah on another note ..im trying to stop being a nice guy =x. Haha! Being a nice guy doesnt mean being a good host you see… so yes..i wanna be mean and nasty now.
Okay everything should normalize now for vpssvr3 node. Lets cross fingers not to trip on my server again. cheers
Why did you close my ticket without saying any?
John, stop making alot of noises here when you never really open any ticket. The last ticket you opened when we had issues with our ticketing system. That was weeks ago when it was solve. You always being nice to ask for favours from hosters than start whacking them when things dont go your way?
What’s that DC where people remove power cable from servers?
Pretty serious one though :D
was a joke.
Sounds like it wasn’t :/
Wow for that price is insane. and scary at the same time.
From the posted DD im worried.
Can someone host a 100MB.test for the network, and a ip to try ping.
Added, where is the TOS ?
Like to knew the limitations =)
what TOS, if you want non-working vps, what’s the TOS got to do with?
Do NOT but from this company. They do not respond to support tickets or in IRC as well. Also, the server going to many times. I had opened tickets and they deleted it everyday without any respond.
my vps on vpssvr3 is still down 2days straight.
Trolls !! Trolls !! Trolls alert! Neways, morning guys. To those on vpssvr3, im monitoring this stupid server closely. After the sudden shutdown at the IDC, it now seems like its abit sluggish.. im trying to clean it up. vpssvr3 is mainly all the USD10 and 15 per year users. For those monthly payment users, you guys are definitely not affected.
@John, open a new damn ticket and stop making alot of noise here. Stop making a big fuss of everything that dont go your way. You did not even open any tickets since last troubles we had about our whmcs getting spam with massive ticket creation from malicious users. http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/cripperz-prodigy-4-50-1-setup-512mb-openvz-vps-in-colorado/
Ticket #573827
Trolls vs bad PR…
yeah …i wanna stop being nice =/ … haha
Well be nice and i will be nice to you… simple. Got issues, i attend to it, if its my mistake or problem i will admit it but dont come here and start saying things that are not true and exaggerating every single damn thing. Putting zero tolerance to that now.
No more yes sir sorry sir shit from me from now onwards. I realize trolls here are the one who are making up stories and damn good at it. Must be some fanboy of a particular host or something.
client-business relationship is both ways, you can “fire a client”..
Very well said. To be honest i rather keep the small amount of good clients than having massive amount of difficult customers. Thats the business culture here in Singapore too. And thats the reason why we are still around despite the ups and downs too =P
Its always nice to have customers who are appreciative and reasonable. When something goes wrong, we are never reluctant to go beyond the means to get things right again or even give favors when need to. I guess its just basic courtesy to do so even in real life.
@John … see you just opened the same ticket that was close before due to massive spams. I announce that to all the LEB review page before. Dont tell me you didnt see it.

#573827 – Server down again
john seo Customer-Reply 0h 13m
Server (on vpssvr3) claims to boot but in reality, hasn’t. Unusable. OS Reinstall doesn’t work either. So far, have had no service whatsoever.
still down for 3 straight days.
I don’t believe you, your probably just trolling, get a life -_-
ya, don’t have to
Guess I’m trolling too. Vpssvr3 has been down for over 3 days now.
yea, anybody has vps on that node is trolling, so funny.
mine just came back.
went off again, I guess node itself has problem.
On chrome I could barely see the text when signing up. I bought a 2.50 one though. See screenshot for examples of bad text on bad colors:
http://minus.com/mbkfA6SVLo
Just select the area that is hard to see, this will highlight the white text with a blue background, makes it more visible than white text on light grey background..
@Brian
half way through editing the css. Duely noted, i shall adjust that css back again. Thanks for highlighting that. Your order / vps have been created by the way.
Paypal dispute filed…
Nothing worse than an ignorant tech guy. Feel sorry for you guys.
I still haven’t got the details to the VPS I ordered yet?
Order Number: 4338695837
Well, I got problems in the beggining, too, but my VPS is working fine since yesterday.
Well,
My VPS on vpssvr3 just went belly up. I’ve opened a ticket 785558 but still waiting… for 15 hours now lol…
Haas – CripperZ.SG: when will it be up?
Thanks…
Im killing myself with this node. If this continues, im gonna get the guys to replace that node for sure. Will update you guys via the panel announcements in few days time. Im trying to see how bad was the damage for now. I am sure some vpses in that node are working fine, i saw a couple which already have fs errors on boot up. Gonna be a messy move. =/ Oh yeah im referring to vpssvr3 only.
In a few days?!???! Hell i need it ASAP ;)
If you need help send me an e-mail. I work with Parallels on a day to day basis.
Rest assure if its a problem that cannot be solve, i make a quick decision to move some of you guys out. Otherwise that few days is to just monitor anymore abnormality to that node because it has been working ever so fine until that stupid power outage.
Haha shall take note of your kind gesture to assist me haha. No worries. it should be coming back online now for those in vpssvr3. Try boot up using solusvm, ignore the online / offline status and ping your ip instead. once the ip is pingable try and ssh in. =P
Haas:
I’ve booted and rebooted and booted again the VPS and is still down.
“Container not running”
Can you please check it?
Thanks.
Xupetas,
i think you are one of those vpses that have vzquota error. I stumbled upon afew. You mind opening a ticket so that i know which vps are you on?
cheers Be waiting for your ticket.
Hello Haas:
Ticket ID:168208
Many thanks. The VPS is up and running!
@Xupetas
NP, i will be still on the ticketing system, i still have a couple more vpses that failed to boot up due to vzquota error. Frustrating!!
haha just buzz me over the ticket system. I will also come online to the irc channel at freenode #CripperZ
cheers
@Gregg never good idea to troll on someone’s thread claiming im ignorant etc when you didnt even have a service with me isnt mr whitelabelhosting. Go to your own thread and deal with your own users will ya ? It is Saturday here in Singapore and the fact that we have different timezone.
Oh btw guys, vpssvr3, im gonna get the datacenter tech to explain why the hell it went off again on Friday. It was working fine on Friday day time in Singapore as all my corporate email hosting are there. No worries looking into. Vpssvr3 was working fine until lately, thanks to the sudden power outage. I am beginning to see some container having FS errors.
Vpssvr4 (monthly users) are not affected at all. I just woke up, gonna get some shower and coffee, i be attending all the tickets shortly. Cheers.
Just signed up, gonna see how it performs when it’s set up.
The white font on white background in your WHCMS and during the signup are really awful.
Thanks, feedback noted. Fixing the css right now. I have not process cheapvps blowout right now but will do so in 1 to 2 hours time once i fixed the errors on vpssvr3 node.
All per month sign up have been processed though.
@LowEndAdmin you got time to change the screenshot? haha =P
Hey Haas, My other KS nodes are down too.
on vpssvr3 node ? Im still here looking into the problem. What a nice weekend to spend infront of terminal at 12midnight Sunday. =/
hardware may be crap, better tell’em to change or something…..
would you look into Ticket #985526 ?
Replied to you ticket.
Is blowout for 10$ sold out? When clicking the direct link I get the 15$ offer. Tried with android and dolphin browser.
Haas,
My VPS is down again :(
Ticket ID529172
Thanks!
=( yeap i know. The filesystem error is causing high i/o and i had to just reboot and do an offline scan to the filesystem. Im waiting for the server to come back online in a bit.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Down AGAIN!!!
Ticket ID 529172 it was up for 47 minutes and then it went dead again!
i was the one who brought it down. Im still awake and fixing it.
Haas,
It just went zombie now…. I can ping it, but cannot access it, not even after a pseudo-reboot via Solus.
Can you help me?
Ticket ID:#834187
Thanks.
It’s up now…
I bought a VPS from Cripperz and paid in advance for 1 year. A few months in, my VPS went down and support tickets when unanswered. I contacted “Haas” and was promised a working VPS or a refund. Soon, all emails went unanswered. What gives “Haas”?
Hey lowender,
amazing you are still around. If you paid the vps via Paypal, just click dispute for refund. Otherwise, just open a ticket because i already mentioned that we had massive spams of anon tickets on our system back then which causes us to just delete all the ticket. You are one of the 9 customers on colorado server which we discontinued. Some of those customers are happily in Kansas now. So its your choice. Open a damn ticket rather than throwing your tantrum publicly which will not resort to any resolution.
You should contact a customer prior to terminating their service, especially when it is your fault. I have emailed you directly, so this excuse of your system being spammed is irrelevant. In any case, your reply above, “Open a damn ticket rather than throwing your tantrum publicly” – nice quote. It’s nice to know how you treat your customers. I’m not interested in giving you another chance when you clearly have some business skills to work on. Good Luck.
@Lowender i think seeing this “terminating their service” scam alot and all i can tell you is, open a ticket and let me see what you purchased. I do not have anyone by the name of “Lowender” in my whmcs database and i have no clue who are you to begin with. I did not terminate anyone’s service and yes the colorado was a mishap on my end with 9 users affected. Yes 9 users out of the many that i have with me. And out of that 9 users, some have agreed to move into Kansas server while 2 of them requested for termination of service and these guys are just paying by per month basis – they have been been refunded via paypal dispute. I do not have a 1 year term contract as what you claim. Open a ticket, i fix it as simple rather than you going to each of my review page telling people how bad was the experience which i wonder do you ever got anything better to do?
I will of course offer the same offer that i gave to the previous affected colorado box users. Get your money refunded or move you to kansas box. Either way, i asked to open a ticket using the same account that you first purchased the service. Everyone else already done it and things have been resolved except you. So when are you gonna open a ticket and resolve this or you still prefer to publicly attack me etc ?
Seriously, thats the business skill i have, never bow down, never say die. Sadly my focus have pretty much shifted, i prefer to have a small base of customers that i know i can mutually gain the bond / respect than having plenty of noobs tarnishing the good name of the group without understanding what they paid for.
I think i made myself pretty clear now. =).
Even I can’t agree with that and I don’t think most providers here would either. If you’re doing something illegal or causing trouble on the server that I own, causing trouble for my other clients, and rely on to put food on my table, your ass is gone. Yes, I’ll send you an email afterwards but you’re account is closed.
I may let you back if you’re honest but 99% of the folks who I have ToS’ed aren’t.
You may have also missed that he did state that he did email. Multiple times.
I wasn’t terminated for doing anything wrong. I was terminated because they apparently lost their contract with the server I was hosted on(as stated in his reply). In any case, I’m not here to start a revolution but just to post my experience for others. Good luck with your hosting company, Haas.
@Lowender
you are smart to answer and divert the objective of the whole thing. The fact is that i do not want your money if you are not happy with the service. Neither do i wanna be labeled as running away with that money because is not doing me any good either. I asked you to file a paypal dispute if opening a ticket is such a trouble for you to do so, i will gladly grant the full refund through that dispute. I dont see anything wrong in filing a paypal dispute if its on a correct course / reason. For this case, your colorado server wasnt terminated but service with the provider that i am with was ended causing a service distruption to you. More than enough reason for you to file a dispute via paypal and get your money back, which i will gladly comply. cheers
Hass,
I think you need to check your attitude, and your overall appearance. If I were a customer, just by seeing the way you talk to an existing customer would make me not want to sign up with you. Also, you should check your spelling and punctuation. I also do consider what he is doing a “public tantrum”, but more of a “what is going on”.
Be nicer, and you will make it longer :)
Regards,
Chris
@Chris Fabozzi
It is not something that is going on. It is something that he dragged along despite all the options given to resolve it. And claiming that i run away with his money? Why cant he just open a ticket or file a paypal dispute? Its not whats going on, its more of a has been that just came along to start spoiling a new thread again.
Again Chris, do you know what is actually going on before advising me of my attitude? You know this guy is really pissing me over the top with all his whinings that i ran away with his money which is probably US$10 or US$15? Seriously with all the options given to him, have a new vps server or get a refund, open a ticket / file a paypal dispute. What is so difficult if you are really a legit user. Unless another troll around here.
Makes me wonder, @Lowender, did you purchase the vps with a hacked paypal account or something that made you NOT OPEN A TICKET FOR ME TO CHECK ON YOU?
Encouraging a customer to file a PayPal dispute is not going to benefit anyone. It’s not about the money, it’s about customer service. It seems you are working hard to improve your service and I appreciate your effort here and good luck. I wish you well.
@Lowender you are smart to answer and divert the objective of the whole thing. Hass,
Every provider has problem clients that follow them around that give them bad publicity, its natural you cannot make EVERYONE happy. However; that being said you cannot lose your cool and make yourself look stupid. The way you acted above, shows you are immature. Take situations on professionally and do not show any anger or frustration. Anyone reading this regardless of the situation does not want to see a provider yelling or insulting anyone.
This was just a heads up to help you out in the future, hopefully you will take it as it is good advice.
Regards,
Chris
Paid for one annual vps, yet, up to now (almost 24 hours after payment), no updates were given to me yet.
All orders have just been process, i hold on creating anymore per year vps plans on the existing node due to problems we had for past couple of days. Everything should normalize now. All orders have been processed.
Just got the details. Thanks. I did remember you told me yesterday that you were checking a few issues. Unluckily at that time you told me that vps will be ready in an hour or two…and was delayed without notice ;)
Anyhow, I hope the VPS works properly :)
@delirium
yeap everythings seems to run normally now. Been monitoring things for past 2 hours. One more hour and i shall go to sleep. Do open a ticket if you need anything. Will do it before i go snooze in a bit. Having my Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) @ 1:42am singapore time.
Hi
some new users on vpssvr3 will be moved to vpssvr2. This applies only to new users as i will not do any migration. Simply just deleting that vps and creating you to a new node. As for vpssvr3, the filesystem errors and scan should normalize real soon. However if you still experiencing problem, just open a ticket and i will attend to it – dont rant here as it do no good either =p.
All orders have been processed. Cheers and i hope things will settle down and everyone can do their own things now =). Will be around still so just open a ticket.
Is Solus working? Weird thing is that even though solus says “off”, the i.p works, and none of the stats
such as ram usage, etc, is shown as max, and reinstall doesn’t seem to work, but ip pings. so weird.
Yeah Solus seems bugged, my server is turned off and i can’t turn it on.
@gsrdgrdghd
open a ticket so that i can take a look at it. I do note that there was a user who tried to re-install to a different os template and it didnt work on vpssvr2 because the template did not finish syncing between servers. I have manually uploaded most of the template. So yeah, open a ticket so that i know who you are exactly and i will fix it.
cheers
Haas I’m not doubting you (You seem to have a clue) but seems weird that an enduser having a messed up OS install would take out an entire server.
Or am I misunderstanding?
Yeah that was me, thanks for the fix. Good support, took 2 hours from ticket creation to fix – very fast
Now u just gotta fix your template ;)
http://i.imgur.com/3rK5l.png
Oh and one small thing – the link to Solus in the welcome email links to http://xxxxx:2086/
@drmike haha you misunderstood. I realized that the solusvm didnt finish syncing the templates when i rebooted the newly installed node config with mod tun and pptpd modules to launch on every host node reboot. So the best part is the master Solusvm still thought that it is online and still attempt to sync the templates which it is not exactly doing. Despite its being listed on the enduser page, that template does not physically exist. I had to do a manual upload to the template cache folder in the host node and that took awhile.
What happened was he reinstalled with a non physically exist template between my process of fixing the template cache. So yeah, he saw it was installed but of course it wont boot because there is no template in the cache. Thats why solusvm still indicated it as offline.
The cutie is really glaring at me but thanks for the follow up.
I have switched off the vzquota due to the massive I/O that it used. Do not that vpssvr3 had a filesystem error previously, i will renabled the vzquota gradually so that i will not jammed up the I/O again.
yes, if the IP works means your server will work, just ssh in. There is no need to use solusvm to control your VM as this is not KVM or Xen / Windows o/s that you need a remote console. If ssh works, i am sure you can start or boot your services via ssh.
I do also notice that the status on solusvm is not reliable at the moment, let me look into it, something that i might have tweak during the reboot, a solusvm module / daemon or something. However i am sure most of the vps containers have already successfully booted up.
Ya, if SSH works, I don’t care about Solus, but SSH doesn’t work, so I am using Serial Console which is working just fine, weird. opened a ticket #985526
I am afraid that john isn’t trolling…
@Yomero
yeah he isnt trolling. But i wonder if IP can ping and you can ssh in, whats the use of solusvm thereafter when you already configured your vps. I do note that he has been a per year plan customer for 4 months now. So yeah, its not fun when you had problems with your node “unexpectedly” and working hard all day long to normalize things and all you get is – Solusvm is not working. =/
Well like i mention again, open a ticket and i will deal with it. Ranting here will just waste more time and energy having the fingers thumping onto the keyboards – Lucky mine is a Dell =/.
Also it was funny to say that i have been first posted here on June, between that period till now, nobody actually emailed to my support email to say that “hey my vps is not working since first day i bought (back in june)” until today. Really keeps me wondering, who are this people and why are they refusing to open a damn ticket – of course dont mentioned my ticket woes back then when i had thousands of tickets swamping my mailbox.
Sunshine……everything works now….hope it contines….
@john
yeap it will continue to stay normalized. Tmr is the start of business week and hell i do not want to get my customers here in singapore calling me and telling me that their emails are not working.
Gonna check with the datacenter again to make sure that the power stays on =/. I remember paying my bills so yea.
haha cheers! go rest now.
Great maybe last 5 to 10 slots and im closing shop for the per year plan =P … badddd weekend. But neways, thanks LEA for posting up the offer. I didnt do well, maybe do better next time heh~.
cheers
I get one more slot, have it billed to me. (I am the one who requested for tun/tap earlier in ticket)
@delirium
haha noted. Once i have notification / confirmation of paypal payment made, you will receive your vps details right away. You can knock yourself out with vpses tonight i guess =x.
haha cheers
Paid :)
@delirium
done, should be in your mailbox any minute by now. Cheers
saw it popped-up in solus. kinda weird though, solus says my vps is offline but I am actually currently using it at the moment as my vpn server.
@delirium
it wont be that instant for it to come online if you just change the template os. Give it about 10 to 30mins before completing a new install. Just let me know if you are not able to access it. And anyways, i do notice my solusvm is really acting up on me these days. dammit. haha.
Okay cool. Good happy ending and hope will be a good start of the week too. @john and @delirium both got their vpses up and running. Now im gonna have my last sip of coffee and ciggy and head to bed! =P
cheers guys.
None of the direct signup links is working from here (Canada).
@Tony May i know if you mean that you cant access the page? Are you able to go to http://www.cripperz.sg/index.php/contact-us.html and contact us via that form, shall see if there is any issue accessing from your end.
everything is fine…
Some benchmarks of my server on vpssvr2:
Not really good IO and network speed :/
Your network speed is fine IMHO.
It is acceptable. In Kazila, I get 10mbps, but again, price range is huge, so I dont complain.
Hi guys,
i really be honest. For those 64mb plans, i do not see why is there a need for such impressive / excessive I/Os. Again, there must be an objective before performing a benchmark. From what i commonly see in LEB, most people just do benchmark just to compare among vps providers. For my case, i did tweak the i/o priority on 64mb and 128mbs vpses. On a normal priority you would probably get about 60 to 80. Just some of the tweaking to balance things up on the box. I do however monitor its performance reasonably.
Not to point fingers at anyone and dont get me wrong, most of the per year plan buyers use it for backup vps, vpn, irc. There are still quite a small number who actually uses it and abuse it from time to time which made me took this measure.
Relax, we know that. It is just a 64mb VPS, not a dedicated server.
@Mario
haha im quite relaxed. Just explaining a lil bit =P. Its 6:40am here in Singapore and having my 2nd cup of coffee + clove ciggies.
Good Morning to you guys whenerever you guys are … haha
I had a proxy opened on one of their monthly servers and accdiently left the port default without a password. Someone had sent spam emails using the IP and they suspended me for abuse. I tried to explain the siutation and that if unsuspended I would password the proxy. No one ever replied so I waited the monthly price and the $1 setup fee all within 3 days.
Took 2 days to get my VPS information and when I got it the VPS wasnt up for an hour, I guess it was still provisioning.
Also the welcome email had the text http://vps.cripperz.sg:5353 but it really linked to http://xxxxx:2086/ … Poor template editing lol.
I never seen you responding to the ticket. Please respond to the ticket that i open to notify you of that abuse alert by the datacenter. To be honest, i dont tolerate abuse, i will not hesitate to boot anyone out without refunding. So dont waste anyone’s time over it.
By the way open a ticket, i will sort that thing out for ya.
oh btw, that email template thingy has been fix after all emails were sent out. My bad.
your site is down?
@john some freaking abuser on vpssvr4 … datacenter null route the mainsvr ip. sorting it out now.
@john you a fast to detect the downtime.
just woke-up and no email came, so I noticed.
@john back online and disabled the abuser. He can say good bye to his money for abusing the damn network.
yup, came back, everything is fine now.
So far so good, I’ve had no problems with them, I have kloxo installed, and I am only using it for DNS, so it works out fine. Support is consistant, which is alot to expect for a $10/year vps.
It’s down again including Solus panel.
came back.
My damn solusvm just wouldnt sync template… =/ gotta figure it out. sorry for the reboot.
ya, that was the problem before wasn’t it?
It was acting weired, sometimes work, sometimes doesn’t respond, weird.
Problem still persist. Well not that i need to sync now but hell manual sync is troublesome. Gonna get some support from Solusvm when i got the time to =/. no worries, not going to reboot any servers for now.
would you check Ticket #540929?
thanks.
Hi,
Is this where it carries on syncing but doesn’t actually sync any data?
I had the same issue. Just SCP the Templates across its much easier and you can see the progress :)
exactly the same issue. I had this issue after upgrading to 1.8.0.2 or whatever the damn version is. lolx
Hey,
You know its not solusvm at fault its a networking issue between master and slave?
Painfully slow, sometimes it takes a minute to get a response when logging into ssh :K
vpssrv3
Better then yesterday, I did this yesterday and got a I/O speed of less then 1MB/s, and ssh felt like it was being choked by everything else crammed onto the box.
What is the IP range of your VM? 199.xx?
204.12.xxx.xxx

Very speedy :).
Not sure if being sarcastic or…
What do you think haha.
22/08/2009 it came out. its just over 3 years old
I/O speed seems to be varied from 20 to 1MB/s. This indicates to me that they are cramming a ton of vps on this 2 HDD/raid0 setup with a Phenom II 965. Stay away, I’m sure you guys can find something that actually works for the same price.
RAID1/0 ;). My primary disk is dying on my usa server im getting between 7-25 MB/sec.
Every keep there backups safe ;)
hey, Haas, is it impossible to set rDNS?
@John,
requested to the idc and that informed me its been done (closed my ticket). Your rdns still not resolved yet?
no, I was not blaming you, those sob’s in datacenter.
It’s been so long…
can you ask them again?
ticket is #165187
It’s been so long.
Blazing fast I/O speed from Cripperz vpssrv3… yeah right.
Come on, for 11 bucks A YEAR?
$11 I’d expect better then 600KB/s I/O speed. You know how slow that is?
Lets put that in perspective, it took just under a half a hour minutes to transfer 1.1GB of data.
I know, I have a VPS with them. Just open a ticket.
Ticket wont fix 1,000,000 VPS on one box I’m afraid. I’m going to pay slightly more and get something better.
their KS server has been down all day long, including their own site.
Here we go again u_u
The DNS isn’t answering, maybe that is the problem… or even the DNS is in the same box!? Damn ¬_¬
Down for me too… Even for a $10 box this machine is unreliable.
Not sure if vpsserv3 is in kansas or whatever you americans call it.. but vpsserv3 is still up and running.
Vpsserv2 is also online… however the dns are still down…. crap!
No reply on twitter, no nothing. Might be a deadpooler?
He was so active on LEB hence new how not to end up in the dead pool…
Would that be a commercial suicide?
Strange…
Ahm… enscloud?
Yet another enscloud =))
Wasn’t he just bragging on LET the other week about how he hasn’t hit the dead pool even though people figured he would?
Francisco
Might have spoke to soon:
Cripperz.SG
Datashack disabled our port due to abuse by some of the users. Apologies for those who are on Mainsvr4. The group of users who have abusing the network will be totally remove!!. Getting the datacenter to re-enable the server soon once we dealth with all the abuse notice.
And the DNS?? When will it be up again?
Argh…. now the DNS are up but my VPS is down and i cannot even open a service request.
Haas please help!!!!
Damn… the VPS is still down. I opened service requests but they are opened with no reply.
Did anyone opened any service request? Has Haas replied?
:(
Mine is still down too. I just want to get my rsync scripts off it now. Aaaarrrrrrgggghhh. No good even as a backup server. Oh well. NNNEEEXXXTTT!!!
Mine was down yesterday. Today’s working fine.
I have two vps on same node, one is up and one is down, go figure…
Damn. Now my traffic accounting is completly waked, tried do open a service request, and Haas does not reply.
I am 100GB short of a complete bussiness stop.
If not a deadpool on the fast lane to be one!
Mine is backup, but has no IP. The webconsole is the only thing working for me.
Haas also tweeted
“cripperz Cripperz.SG
Dear VPS customers, services resumed. Those suspended you can forget about getting your vpses or data back =).”
It’s very wrong for him to retain the customer’s data. Albeit it being something very illegal, he has no right to do so.
If he feels that he is getting the short end of the stick he should cancel the contract, return any money payed in advanced and make available the data for the customer to download.
Who said anything about retaining the data? Hopefully he just deletes it. These abusers probably
don’t even leave much data.
“cripperz Cripperz.SG
Dear VPS customers, services resumed. Those suspended you can forget about getting your vpses or data back =).”
Forget about data? The data isnt’t his…. it’s the property of the person who bought the service. And the ideia of “Abusers”…. what is regarded as an Abuse?
To be honest I would not really care about a abusers data too much.. its their fault for not reading the NDA/Doing illegal activities.
Hi
Still no VPS, no answer to support tickets, too late for paypal dispute. $21 dollar gone forever (I bought from an earlier “offer”).
Oh well. you live you learn!
M
What is the maximum time for paypal dispute?
Just opened a paypal dispute…. Let’s see if Haas resolves my problem, or gives my moneyback.
45 days
My VPS on vpssvr2 is still up, looks like im lucky
Mine too, and it is up. Seems that they are the abusers
Please check if your traffic is resetting on the SolusVM control panel. Mine isn’t reseting monthly and i am afraid that once it reaches 500GB it will stop :(
590.36 MB of 500 GB Used / 499.42 GB Free
But i didn’t login in the past few weeks so i guess that 500mb is still from last month. Is there a way to see my per-month usage?
Take a look at graphs in SolusVM or install vnstat?
I am graphing the output via cacti and since the 10th of december (day of the rollover) i just did around 120GB…. not the 343GB the solusVM reports
http://i.imgur.com/9Jl8y.png
Well that doesn’t say really much
Will vnstat also show me the traffic usage from the past? o0
Still no comment on my open ticket with high importance. Not even to say if I was one of the abusers (incidentally, after the last failure I now only used it for backups from other VPS). I feel well and truly ripped off. Considering how vocal Haas was on this site about the lack of respect other providers had for their customers. He well and truly falls into that group, no response on emails, twitter or on this site.
He hasn’t provided a service, I appear unable to get a refund or a working VPS. One word, FRAUD.
For any of those with a working VPS, has Haas responded to you at all?
Nope….
still waiting for at least a response from him as well.
Still waiting as well… 94GB to full stop…. (have anyone reached the 500GB mark).
the solus and actual i.p does not Sync, that’s the problem.
And how to solve it?
haas@cripperz.sg
I have already tried it with no response…. is he dead?
Only he could do it, I don’t think he’s able to.
I dont mind for the error… i just want for the VPS to continue to be able to access the net…. Haas remove the limitation please!
Probably their IP’s are nullrouted. Maybe he isn’t paying the invoices for the servers? Another Brandon enetsuck
Well, he dropped a server in the past that had live customers on it because it wasn’t breaking even. The box was at FDC and had 5 – 10 clients on it, but instead of paying the bill so people got their data, he simply cancelled it and reprovisioned in his other location(s). This isn’t a rumour, he admits it in some earlier sales posts.
Francisco
Really? Crap. I didnt knew that =(
No money back, no VPS, no contact….. Deadpool.com
I was able to open a dispute… if i do not hear from him until Friday i am opening a claim.
My box is still online.
Going to backup my settings, data and logs before this host goes under.
OK. So no way of getting my money back from paypal over 45 days old. No answer from Haas, he is tweeting, but ignoring negative tweets. I guess there is nothing I can do but right off the money I have spent? How does everyone else deal with lowendfraud?
M
Oh, he is tweeting?
What a cynical guy.
Yep he is @cripperz
This is why we need a zombie category, for those VPS providers who seem to be shutting down but partially up however unresponsive. Nevermind, deadpool this guy.
We should have a scam or fraud category for this type of funny guys… if my test ground really comes to stop because of him, i will make my new years resolution to shit list this guy on paypal or any online banking he might use to scam others….
As interesting as that would be it would be a huge liability issue for LEA :)
A zombie one would be just fine I would think, though.
Francisco
Francisco as in the Country of Camões?
He is sticking in a notice at the head of every post if a provider makes the dead pool.
Example: http://www.lowendbox.com/blog/cpanelhost-me-5-512mb-openvz-vps/
Haas seemed to solve “Sync” problem, everything works now.
Nope…. my problem still remains! Almost at a dead stop….
I seriously doubt that Haas is solving anything, if he was still out there caring for the company he would make at least a statement or so on whats going on.
LEA, please consider noting cripperz.sg’s offerings as unresponsive, put them on potential deadpool. I don’t want others falling into this money trap.
You’re essentially aiding fraud.
True! Deadpool him!
ARGHHH The traffic endend and the VPS was shutdown. No answer from Haas… damn this guy!
Well my VPS came back up the other day, and has been fine, so I guess he is doing something, although I guess an automated script might have sorted it… Still no danger of me using it!!!
waste here will not respond for the yearly customers my vps is not working frequently
And gone again, along with the cripperz website. He is obviously dealing with his “haters” well then. Deffo a deapooler now, think it has moved out the zombie stage!
And now the DNS are down again…. deadpool this guy already!
Looks bad, entire site down and my vps is also offline now.
Are you the admin on LowEndStock.com? I have tried to report him as a fraud and i cannot add the comment to his company
It’s approved, finally my vps is back after a downtime of 11 hours, 26 minutes and 04 seconds.
my vps can’t UP until now :((
No Virtual Servers Found :((
LOL! Now my VPS is with 0% traffic but i cant boot it up. It says “This virtual server has been suspended by the administrator. Please contact support”
Contacted them and guess what… no response….
Cool, you are out now n_n
Now… run, run fast!
That makes absolutely no sense…
Well, try to get a refund, good luck u_u
LOL! Already escalated paypal dispute to claim… and if i dont get a refund i am going to get my money’s worth on bad publicity for this company.
Good luck with that. PayPal are shite when it comes to year long contracts. If the company goes bust 46 days after you paid you’re on your own.
I opened my claim and escalated before the 30th day! My problems started long before the 45 day mark.
Paypal has just replied they have decided for me… it’s time to stop this type of company fraud!!
Cool. Everybody claim!
…and with that comment i really suspect that you approve of this type of moneytrap….
I approve? o_O I am saying that if you got your money, everybody must try to get their money, that’s all :s
I don’t have any problems… should I worry?
Keep an eye on your traffic accounting… that was where my problem started…
It has just reseted: 1.83 GB of 500 GB Used / 498.17 GB Free
I haven’t ran with problems… maybe you were an abuser??
Nope… i just used all of my traffic one month and the next month he didnt reset my traffic meter so my vps got shut down automatically.
I was using the VPS for and endpoint tunnel so no abuse here!
When i tried to talk to haas he gave me the silent treatment… for 2 months….
I’ve been keeping an eye on my VPS, I mean for the price I didn’t expect much, It’s been an OK little test box, but my main complaint is DISK SPEED. It’s always been troublesome with this VPS, MySQL times out when trying to start up.
0.6MB/s I/O is good enough I guess.
Haas!!dude,i’ve already filed a ticket last december 29,and it’s still open!!cant you help me out?
Im only requesting that you enable my TUN/TAP connection!
LOL! Take a ticket and sit… you are in for a long long long wait…Are you still within the 45 day paypal return possiblty? If you are place a claim….
Entire site down and my vps is off again.
I’ve had that numberous times as well,
sent multiple supporttickets, all ignored
And on twitter they tell me that nothing’s wrong if I contact them that way.
The times they are up they are under heavy load, and don’t expect to be able to use burstable RAM!
Mine too. I think I might stop monitoring it.
Went to paypal, and got my money back. Deadpool this guy! He is the worst kind of fraud!
The status right now is:
*Their website doesn’t resolve
*VPS is up, but slow as hell, and upload is literaly capped to 30Kbps.
Hey guys, Datashack screwed me well later between december and january, i decided that its not worth the saving and argument with them. Im arranging to survey out a couple of other host and resume service. Nonetheless, i did tweet out a couple of times to ask people to back up their stuff as the server is going offline – weeks before it eventually did went offline.
I did not send out via WHMCS becoz as you can see on previous post, there was an exploit again on WHMCS 4.5 and we were affected then my web got hit too. So yeah too messy to deal with all of it but i will deal with these + datashack mistakenly null route some of my IP after they shifted their billing platform from WHMCS to some other, all records was not tally. Learning turf, i will sort out for a better structure before i actually start the vps service again.
I have the list of records of users who actually paid for what, those filed for paypal disputes, not to worry, i will be processing those disputes to have ur money return to you =) … till next time – mostly likely i will be out of too many low end box offerings, but i enjoyed the thrills so far.
Follow me @cripperz on twitter. =) cheers!
