Frixel Solutions LLC is a registered company in the state of Oregon, USA. While their WHOIS is private, their details can be confirmed at the website of the state of Oregon right here. According to this information they have recently registered, so let me welcome another new provider to LowEndBox. The bandwidth for these servers is pure HE for now, but Level3 will be added soon, according to Michael. Frixel Solutions owns the servers they have in this unique location. CPU speeds and age of components may vary per server, but you will always get at least the specs listed. As with all new providers, please be cautious and let us know your experiences!

PayPal is currently the only accepted payment methods. Servers are usually set up within 72 hours. The servers come as they are and there’s no way to customize them. CentOS 6 and 7, the latest Ubuntu, and the lastest Debian are used as their default set of OS but custom OS may be installed upon request, for which you need to contact them. Before you order, please read their Terms of Service.

Not the best hardware specs, but for $15 what can you expect. 4GB of RAM does not come cheap if you want a KVM, also that Pentium 4 is somewhat equal to an Atom. I think it’s a good choice for someone who wants a private backup server. If they add Level3 the network I think will be much better.

    • Thank you for your comment! The CPUs are not fantastic nor is the IO throughput of a single SATA disk, but you can expect consistent performance since it’s dedicated to you and no resources are shared like a VPS. You don’t have to worry about another client abusing the server, or another client’s VPS getting compromised and causing problems for other containers on the node. I am also looking forward to the Level3, even though I’ve been impressed with the quality of HE’s network and routing.
      All the best,
      Michael

Thanks for this! It is a must read!

It becomes apparent this is old recycled equipment that is networked on a cable service. Provider becomes hostile when simple pre-sales inquiries are made. It made the decisions for those involved, and myself, very simple.

      Stay away.

15$ without VAT might be a good offer if you need a dedicated HDD/CPU/RAM in this specific US location.
